The reduction of CO2 and other greenhouse gases will reduce the effect of CC.. not overnight.. but in due course.. just as the excess carbon took from the beginning of the industrial age to reach the point we are now, the time to reduce the effect will also require time..

The hole in the Ozone needed 30 years to show the healing.. that was a minor part of the CC and what we have to do now is get some headway before we are at a "too late to stop it" tipping point..

we are close to that tipping point and we see the effect of CC every day. even in your back yard if you simply look..

Also, try to remember that G****l W*****g is part of C*****e c****e and we have not simply had a name change for the same thing.. 2 problems, one triggered by the other..

So what sparked off all the other eras of warming and cooling throughout the history of the Earth?

I understand the fear that is evoked by thoughts of global destruction... But our world isn't a great environment for static life... Especially humans...

I mean... Think about it...

Volcanoes, solar flares, earthquakes, sinkholes, lightning, forest fires, typhoons, tornadoes, tidal waves, drought, floods, kelp blooms, v***ses and bacterias, sharks and jellyfish, snakes, scorpions, spiders, women...

Just about everything is designed to k**l us or makes us miserable...

Enviro-crazies have one point. F****l f**ls are the one common factor in allowing over population. The big however is, you go ahead and get rid of f****l f**ls. Yep go ahead. If anyone thinks over population is bad, just wait until you see rapid depopulation. All of the great disasters in human history were basically depopulation events.

From the Bronze Age Collapse to the great famines, you do not want to be in those events. Yes-sirree lets go back to the mid 1700s. We can cut down all of the trees for firewood. Bring back the small family farm because you will not have synthetic fertilizers, partially derived from natural gas. A lot more land will have to be brought back into cultivation as crop yields per acre go down. Gee maybe depopulation could be good. Knock down all of those housing developments that are sitting on former farmland. My former hunting grounds might come back. Yep screw humanity.

I may not ever get over the ignorance and callousness of those stone Age dicks...

And don't even get me started on those fools who thought it would be a good idea to hunt mammoths to extinction... The perfect combination of elephant and Slatten... Probably tasty as all hell... But I'll never know...

I almost found you some tasty Mammoth meat, but it was just past it's expiration date. Just by a few thousand years.

WOW! Nice swing, and PERFECT ball contact!

While I completely agree with your brilliant sarcasm, I can already see their arguments against it.

One example:

Those people used a stick with a rock tied to it to destroy the planet for their children.
What we're doing it ten million times worse!

We need to go back to times before rocks, and sticks to fix it.

And an excellent return...

I see that you weren't joking when you said you've been working on your backhand

As I stated on another thread... Canada has been in a covert operation to remove as many rocks from America as we can for decades now...

I'm going to counter your rocks and sticks argument by pointing out that the dinosaurs had neither and still managed to c*****e c****e themselves to extinction... Stupid lizards and their selfish polluting ways...

It is NOT science...it is the left's secular religion. And there are many "c*****e-c****e" officials who have openly admitted it is about wealth redistribution, not the environment. False on so many levels

But g****l w*****g is just a Chinese h**x, right binky?

Then there are a lot of sick people in Australia, only 24 of them arrested for arson so far, others re fined thousands of dollars if caught throwing a cigarette butt from a moving car. So much for a c*****e c****e...
I have been there twice, the first time in the early 70s, with the devastating floods, when Lake Eyre (normally a dry depression) had filled with water, and a 1 million cattle drowned.
A second time, in a Christmas Time, you could see on a local TV how they fry eggs on the Melbourne sidewalks. That was about 1989.
But I also remember the "Club of Rome" of the early 70's, threatening us with a g****l c*****g and starvation by year 2000.
The eschatology movements repeat themselves every 100 years or so, mostly in a country deemed "ungovernable" by those appointed or "elected" to govern it.
The climate h**x is a typical example of the powerful elite owning a property on the water edge, flying a carbon-intensive planes while lecturing the great "unwashed" about anthropogenic rubbish.
It is about time that we respond to "eschatology" with "scatology", if you know what I mean.
