Not sad he is dead....
Just not impressed with the way it was accomplished...
I usually agree with you 99.9% of the time. But in this instance we take what we can get, it was a good choice and well done without collateral damage. They set the rules as anything goes, so they can't complain when we play their way.

You're aware that there is a difference between a leader of a terrorist organization and a general in a national military, right?
If Iran and America are not at war then this attack was a terrorist act...
Consider that...
Might be a good idea to research more into what this so called General has been doing !
Something to Consider
I'm not saying that you are promoting this , However one could read into your post as meaning well he was a General in a nation who is the biggest sponsor of terrorism the world over and who have murdered many many people !
So since he's a General and we aren't a war with Iran we better leave well enough along and allow him to kill or mame as many as he wants to ! Just Saying
Baloney. He was a murderer pure and simple. He had many Americans murdered and many more were probably in his sights. Soleimani wasn't a high government official he was a high government terrorist/murderer. Pres Trump is correct. A terrorist kills an American then we kill him. Period. End of story.
Should we have or not???

Was killing General Soleimani the right thing to do at this time? I have been listening to arguments on both sides and both sides have compelling arguments. I am on the side that says we did a good deed. There may be fall out, but there always will be in the big sand box as long as we are there.
I'll just say yes, it should have been done long ago. Now I'm out of it.

I have no doubt whatsoever that we did the right thing. He was a murderer with not one good quality that I’ve heard of. We can sit back and do what we did in 1979 and let Iran keep spreading their hatred or we can stand up and do the right thing. I say stand proud, America. Help Trump accomplish his promises.

Are you impressed how many Americans he murdered???? And BTW he wasn't supposed to be in Iraq in the first place!!!! He deserved everything he got!!! It was a drone strike,no Americans got killed!!! I'm for one very impressed how it happened!!!!!!!
I agree 100%. Sometimes, you don't get the choice of "better circumstances" to pull off an operation.

The sad truth is the majority of countries belonging to the UN hate America - why - JUST PLAIN JEALOUSY. Actually, I feel it's time to kick those parasites out of our country, send UN headquarters to some improvised country where they will receive exorbitant bills for occupying space, and help that poor country get on its feet.
Bravo! I certainly agree with that. I am all for "Getting the UN out of the US, and getting the US out of the UN!" We are hated, and all the while we are called on to pay, pay, pay for the sake of other's benefit. It really sucks big time as far as I am concerned.

Your first statement is not an absolute. This General was designated a terrorist and was an official of the number one sponsor of terrorism in the world. We have been at war with terrorism for ever. Wearing stars and bars shouldn’t give one immunity.

Does the US ally with terrorists?
