Designate 72 hours for the polls to be open and guarded. You show up and vote and if you can not make it to the polls, then you don't vote. Only paper ballots. Voting judges from all parties to be on location at all times while the polls are open. That's it! No early voting, no mail in crap!

Without mail in or early voting you potentially disenfranchise rural citizens. Almost half the counties in Arizona have close to or over 10,000 square miles (9,000 to over 13,000). Some of our counties have a single polling place. Some have 90% of voters using mail in ballots.

I previously mentioned one possible condition which would prevent someone living rurally from driving to a polling place for more than 72 hours. Flooding. About a month ago I was unable to get out my road, even on foot for 2 weeks. By that time, my all wheel drive vehicle still sunk to the bumper (but could pull through), but also hydroplaned so bad the only thing which kept me from sliding sideways into the river was bumping up against a tree. Walkingach my mailbox, I sunk knee depth.

You would disenfranchise those in the military overseas. If anyone deserves to have a say in our country, those putting their life on the line for our country deserve to vote!

Then there are those who don't drive, such as those with certain disabilities.

What witnesses? The minority (Republicans) weren't allowed to call witnesses during the House hearings. They were only allowed to cross examine the Dem's witnesses. Once they brought the hearings out of the basement after the GOP demanded transparency it became clear how the Democrats were trying to orchestrate a coup without the public knowing about it.

They wanted to play politics and call Witnesses that had nothing to do with the impeachment !

You make very good points. Maybe a short period for mail in. This business of absentee and mail in voting months before election day is just carp.

The only people who get mail in ballots are registered voters might just be better to have it all mail in! Then we have no voting machines changing your vote !

You mean like the whistleblower? You mean like people who were actually in the room during either of the phone calls? But of course "witnesses who are 3rd party hearsay witnesses, and witnesses who were not even hearsay witnesses but who had an opinion which supported the narrative were acceptable witnesses. The Democrats only call a single witness with first hand information. And that witness reluctantly gave exculpatory evidence which backed Trump up.

Are there States which have early and mail in voting months before the election?

That is a good reason to purge the voter registrations to eliminate ineligible voters.
