Do you guys believe......
When your loved ones pass away they're watching over you??

Yes...
The belief is almost universal...
We are connected by far more than our corporeal bodies...
The Bible doesn’t specifically say that people in heaven cannot look down on us, nor does it say they can.
I don't believe that the God of all mercies and compassion would allow us to watch our loved ones on earth as they suffer the illnesses and injuries that are an inevitable part of everyone's life while here...
That would be far from anyone's image of heaven because we would be unable to assist the loved ones, which would be our natural inclination.
The Apostle Paul, speaking to those who believe in Christ, said that to be absent from the body (as in physically dead), was to be present with the Lord (2nd Corinthians 5:6-7).
6 "Therefore we are always confident, although we know that while we are at home in the body, we are away from the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight."
I think those who have passed on are fully occupied, partially in praising and worshiping God, and in performing the duties assigned them.

Well, since the Soul is immortal, it has to hangout somewhere and have something to do.

I agree with you and this is a question that brings on many more complex questions. The Bible says we are surrounded with a great cloud of witnesses, however, I believe this means that those who have gone on before us have lived their lives as a witness of their faith or their non-belief. Heaven couldn't be blissful and wonderful if loved ones can see us still living life in a sin-filled world and the sin even the best of us commit.

I agree. Heaven wouldn't be Heaven if we had to witness our loved ones and friends going the wrong way or suffering. I think the unrighteous and unsaved are asleep until Judgment Day.
I thought I read somewhere in the Bible an arch angel showed someone heaven and they could look across the chasing and see the tormented in hell gnashing their teeth and wraithing in agony.
That does not sound familiar.
Archangels aren't known to conduct tours of heaven.
Look up the Book of the Bible, the Chapter and verse(s), and post them.

Yes, I often have dreams and wake up to 'see my dad standing at the foot of my bed smiling.' Spooky but nice.

When my dad died, I had to go to his home town for the funeral.
In my hotel room, I turned on a floor lamp.
It would turn off and on.
When my sister got there, I told her dad's here. He keeps turning the lamp off and on.
For a short while he had stayed with her.
She said he was at my house, too.
His TV and light kept turning on yesterday.
IMHO, if they can look down and see us, no matter what is ;happening they would have no joy or sorrow as we know it. Else they are busy chatting with friends and relatives/ancestors they may or may not have met when on earth.
