All these "principles" and suggestions are GREAT! President Trump said that "Draining the Swamp" will take twenty years. And he's right! On the one hand, there are the Socialist despots. On the other, the Capitalist despots. And in between, there are the "Three-letter Agencies" and the elected EGOS who have their hands out. And I will NOT say that ALL these people are crooked. But it doesn't take THAT many, does it? The Tea Party sought to bring a wave of Honesty, Integrity and self-determination into government ten years ago. It was a relatively strong movement of politically savvy citizens and politicians fed up with the direction that they saw America sliding. But what happened to THEM? They were punished by the Obama White house's decisions to IRS them into submission. To strangle their applications to be registered as non-profit political groups. The governmental Medusa has many snakes to strike at ANY opposed to her control. Evil is a part of every minute of our lives. It's inherent in our nature and our natures. It is each person's responsibility and decision to exclude it for ourselves and do GOOD instead. As much as some may find WRONG with President Trump, he has acted and moved to right many wrongs in our nation. Prison reform. Ukraiian-American corruption. Government-Hollywood filth. Military-Industrial control. Illegal immigration. All while trying to root out filth and corruption in White House Administration, Justice Department, Intelligence, Elections, Labor, and on and on. The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) is a CONTROL WARREN of rats. All driven to control the WORLD! God had the Hebrews wander in the desert for "40 years", mainly for all the older idol-worshipers to die off and to start with a fresh team. It may be difficult to root out the McConnells, Romneys, Flakes, Schumers, Pelosis, Sessions and Feinsteins. And it will take time. But the "movement" for honesty, integrity and conservative conviction MUST BE energized. (Don't ask me how.) ALL voters must decide to vote for the "Common Good". All must study well the record and compare it to the platform promises of EACH candidate on each ballot in each state. A tough job, especially given the prejudices, wants and nature of ALL voters. And it'll never stop, because EVIL is a part of each of us. And Satan never sleeps. But Churchill was RIGHT about "giving up".

Some would say this expression is and "Oxymoron". But I DO believe, and by default only, that President Trump is an "honest politician".

Silent Hammer, I agree with you 100 percent. I do think Trump is honest and I think that when he changes his mind, which is not often, it is after he has heard the "rest of the story". Anytime a leader changes his mind, some folks thinks he has lied.

I found this post yesterday and it sums up our situation succintly. (And of course if you think Drumph is honest, you may be beyond reach, so please go back to faux news.) The post reads:

I remember my old history classes in high school. We were studying the Roman Empire. My teacher said that there was not many governments that made it past the 200 year mark.

The USA was approaching 1976. I was proud. But here we are now, getting close to 250 years old, and I feel I really see the possible end of our country.

The damage Trump has caused I feel is irreversible. He has destroyed almost all faith in government. He has dismantled our government from the inside, much as a agent from Russia would do. Agencies formed to help people (CFB), EPA, and so on have been stripped of all working minds. Or their hands have been bound so tightly they are ineffective.

Now he is attacking our military. A coward and draft dodger is making decisions he has no knowledge or ability to make. He has no concept of military life, honor, or oath. None, for he is a liar, a cheat, a coward, a racist, he has all the traits no one wants in a leader. He is surrounded by yes men. These men are also supreme cowards. They want power by any means needed. There is no honor among them.

There was honor in the founders of this nation. There was courage, truth, and fairness. None of these are traits of the GOP. As a vet, I’ve always been proud to be an American. I still am, but I sense a great loss of national pride now. We are willing to kill each other now, and we do so every day, by any means needed.

I don’t care if you are a conservative, that’s fine, but don’t lie, cheat or destroy the country in the course of getting your way. We’ve lost our moral compass. There is a reason it’s called Twitter, its used by twits. People who talk before they think. People who spread rumors and lies. And then lie some more when they are found out. It is America’s new normal, which is very, very abnormal. It is a disease, and it has infected our country.

I’m sad, because America will never see 300 years old if we keep going down this path. We will collapse. We are at a crossroad. We need a hero. Another Washington or Lincoln. We are in deep trouble, deep, deep trouble. If trump is re-elected we will be done. He will finish Putin’s dream.

It's "Do-nothing-Congress" that's caused people to lose faith. You may have lost YOUR "moral compass", but the MAJORITY of the nation sees great progress in cleaning up the Congress, exposing government corruption THROUGHOUT, money laundering with Ukraine, rigged elections by HRC, stopping millions of ILLEGALS streaming across our Southern Border, restoring "GOD" in our government, which was a central point of the "Founders", God rest their souls. Your use of the word 'most' is inaccurate. Most people are not rebuilding faith in the government.

He lost the popular election by over 3 million votes, remember? He's made people leave the republican party due to his corruption. So his "popularity" is declining. Most means the majority, and he doesn't have that, sorry. He does however, have the vocal minority. Ready to defend the indefensible... saying 'bye-bye' to integrity.

It's hopefully just a matter of time before the rubes and goobs and corrupt folks making bank off his policies learn how they were duped.

Yes, Useless, you ARE sad. In February, 2016, 1700 Marines volunteered for White House Duty. For Obarrassment, 26 volunteered. Gallagher was RAILROADED by the Obama-appointed Court Martial (ALL the generals were his appointees). Exculpatory evidence, during the hearings, was ruled inadmissible. Three of our best and bravest were "kangarooed" to PRISON! No, the "Military" and we VETERANS CHEERED when we heard the news! You MUST be confused, and a little tardy: Obama is the one who "ruined" the military.
