I don't believe the Russians made any difference about anything because it is too hard to buy elections. Hillary spent more money than Trump in the 2016 election but she lost her money. If someone spends more money than their opponent in an election and wins, it is said they bought the election. True, money buys name recognition, but money does not buy voters who know anything about why they are voting.
