Seth...I'm more cynical. They haven't five men journalism a black eye. They've destroyed journalism.
I'm nearly to the point of supporting repeal of any constitutional right to freedom of the press.
It no longer exists for print media and broadcast media. So why be constitutionally hypocritical about it?

These media companies still operate on bottom lines, and they're beginning to feel the losses in commercial revenue from reduced viewership or circulation. When they finally find themselves between a rock and a hard place, where it's down to losing all profitability or straightening up and flying right (no pun intended), they will have to concern themselves with gaining back the public trust.

I wonder if Rachel Maddow knows anything about slinging burgers. 😁

That's the only way he can be heard by the public without the media "editing" his statements, and it's also a good way to get the MSM watching one hand and freaking out while the other hand does something else.

Trump is playing winning chess against opponents who don't even realize they're in a chess game.

He's a lot smarter than all of them, a fact that their egos can't even begin to fathom.

Trump inherited a stagnant economy from a predecessor who presides over the slowest recession recovery in history.

Obama's magic wand statement, among other things such as saying a low GDP was the new normal, confirmed that.

Trump's tax cuts were what turned everything around. You can ignore many things, but not a blatant cause-and-effect scenario.

That's the problem with rank & file Dems today -- they can't seem to connect what the Democrat leadership is doing with where it inevitably, with historic precedent, has to lead, and that ain't a very good place...

Seth...you're right. Our greatest national tragedy is the hatefilled, unobjective major media. These radical Democratswouldnt have a chance without the major mass media.

And the MSM are cutting their own throats in the process, because the public is losing confidence in them as sources of accurate information.

Their days of getting a pass are numbered, as circulation and viewership numbers show.

Let's see how far they're willing to go before survival concerns kick in.

Emarine...you are too harsh. Eisenhower had critics because he didn't repeal all of the New Deal. Ike knew his job was to turn the pendulum back to neutral not a hard jolt to the right. Be patient with Trump.

Trump's economy has been excellent. Of course the Democrats and major media will bad mouth the economy in every way they can to drive down the stock market and create a recession to hurt Trump. Most Americans will be hurt too, but that is ok if it hurts Trump
I can think of no comparable time in U.S. history where a major party was hellbent on destroying a president by seriously harming the United States of America.
It will be interesting to see how many millions of Democrats and independents will back Socialism, free speech, the fall of our capitalist system and the dilution of our votes by illegal voters just so they can reign until the whole system crashes down due to Democrats and major media.

"Trump Gave away the farm" When? He's still in office!

Check out the deficit when he gave the wealthy a 19% tax cut that added $2.4 trillion to the debt. That’s a little more than a farm. What happened to those fiscal conservatives and you tea party folks that were all about a balanced budget and reducing the deficit

Not Trumps fault but the problem is actually the pork built into the Democrat controlled house budget bills. Trump has the veto power to kill the budget bills but it would shut down government and affect critically needed department funding. For example, in order to get a increase in defense spending he had to accept other Democrat pork projects, for example the funding of “planned parenthood” which he strongly objected to.

If all the programs funded by the house were those which were essential, we would have a balanced budget. The Democrats don’t want less government but rather more government, more programs, more spending more scamming, more control over the rights and freedoms of American citizens. The way to get a balanced budget is for the voters to remove the Democrats who want to spend money like a drunken sailor.

One thing we should all become aware of is that the government can only create one kind of job, the government job. If we depend upon the government to create jobs for everyone, then we will be under Socialism. In a free society, meaningful jobs are created by the people due to filling their individual needs and desires. Go Trump!

Ike was one of my favorites … well balanced Military man who clearly warned America to control Military spending …

Versus no Jobs Obama inherited by Bush.

Crisis pop up under any President. Bush did not cause the credit crisis. However he put in place policies to handle it. Obama merely needed to follow Bush's roadmap and within 2 years the economy would have been roaring, you know like it is now, and Obama would have rightly gotten the credit. However, Obama followed Rahm Emamuel's advice, never let a good crisis go to waste. So your lad Obama, like other Democrats before him, turned a two year recession into an 8 year fiasco.

But you were very clever to shift the argument away from the Trump-Obama comparison, and shift it to Bush-Obama where because Obama took power during a crisis, no matter how pathetic his performance, you can claim he improved things.
