No matter MR....I am both bulletproof and bullchit proof!

Looked for I cannot be seen

Listened for I cannot be heard

Felt for I cannot be touched

Au contraire Obiwan. I have many sailor friends at my VFW post, and the banter flows freely and incessantly over Budweiser's & Jim Beam. Two of my closest Navy friends are a former submariner & a seal. In fact the seal told me the 'uber' joke. We all served and the inter-service rivalry is indeed fun and entertaining but we were all brothers in the defense of our great country. My question to you is how did you become a lib and a Trump hater?

Jake; as a Sailor it is a given that I have nothing but the greatest respect for our Marines. As I said, I know many, many Marines -and remain friends with some I met in my Navy days. The one thing that supersedes my respect for our military is my respect for God Almighty.

I cannot support a man who 'claims to be Christian' but deliberately does things that go against the very most basic and fundamental Christian beliefs. Yes, we all make mistakes, we all sin, and we all definitely fall short of the glory of God. However, a true Christian knows that when we mess up, if we sincerely repent, God forgives us and gives us yet another chance to do better. Many people seem to misunderstand just what "repent" means.

If I am truly sorry for any harm I may cause through thought, word, action, or deed; I first apologize and confess that mistake to God. If possible, I then apologize and confess that mistake to those I have harmed. And then -the real important part - I make every effort NOT to repeat that mistake again.

What I see in Trump is a person who would use the title of "Christian" to garner votes by claiming that all of the rhetoric, vitriol, hyperbole, and down right lying are all okay because "he's a Christian" and is doing all that discrimination and the like for "the good of the people." I don't "hate" Trump - hell, I've never met the man. But I do seriously dislike how he maligns others, pushes racist policies to further divide us, and apparently has no qualms about telling any lie that will fool the masses and further his political agenda....and that my friend is truly sad....and that is why I cannot support him.

Now, this is something I cannot ignore. Trump was not elected by whites only. How did this country get where it is without Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Jackson and Lincoln...all white. Meantime, we had one black president who was nothing but a fake, a liar, a race baiter, and a homo pusher and a foreigner who drove this country into the ground and brought in hundreds of thousands of our direct enemies. You prove your inability to reason.

Carol, you are not talking about Obama, he was not that man you wrote about. you need to check your facts because you are a liar in that post

He claimed to be...and as far as I know I have no reason to doubt that.

As far as 'supporting his policies' - I will admit that I personally don't agree with everything he did while in office. However, I see Obama (or any president) as one person, elected by the people to lead the country. If the people voted and approved what many see as "gay" policies -even if I disagree - I will not trash a person, in this case Obama, for 'following the laws of the land' - because that's what Jesus taught in the bible.

"Give unto Caesar that which is Caesar's -give unto the Lord that which is the Lord's."

Unlike many people, I realize that it is not "my job" to try and "force" others to believe what I believe and think the way I do." My number one obligation while here on earth is "to be the best example of Jesus
Christ that I can be" while striving to guide others to Him. My God promises to "set everything in order" when He returns. For me, "hating" Obama, or even hating Trump is a waste of time and a hindrance to receiving the blessings the Lord has for me.

When its "in their face" its not that they can't see - its a case of simply 'refusing' to see it.

Most people totally missed it when Trump admitted that he's a racist - when he said,

"I am probably the "least" racist person on the planet."

Read that statement again - slowly - and discover the true meaning contained therein.
