The facts are out there for everyone to see daily. Just watch reporters on the street asking university students questions that we older generation learned in school. How many justices are on the Supreme Court? What is the Bill of Rights? How many Senators are there? What is the Electoral College and what does it do? What are the terms for Congressmen, Senators and the President? These kids know nothing. How can they make informed decisions when they are totally ignorant how the government of our Republic is supposed to work? They learn that open borders are good and socialism is even better. Where did they learn these things? The schools are now an extension of the Democrat Party and the kids are only taught to love leftest ideas and hate the country they were born in. That is the sad truth. The left owns the entire education system and brain washes our kids. Crap like the Department of Education are the problem. The Constitution makes no provisions for the Federal Government to stick it's nose into the education of our children. Everything, EVERYTHING, the Feds are involved in is political and education should be politics free. The left already own the future because they have indoctrinated all our kids to be good socialist comrades.

Oh, and now comes the answers from the left. Why don't the right take charge of education if it's so bad. Because the left owns the teacher's unions and you have to belong to the union to teach. That's why we can't take back education.

In Illinois, which has a new dem governor and dem legislature, there was a bill passed in July which will require all public schools, beginning in the 2020/21 school year, to teach LGBTQ history as part of the curriculum. There was no talk at the local districts of this legislation until it was a done deal. Do you agree with this? I don't. Full term abortion (infanticide) was also legalized, among many other egregious policies that truly do nothing good for the average Illinois citizens. All done in LESS THAN 6 MONTHS of the governor and new legislature being sworn in. The only good thing to come of it is the fact that they're all gonna be gone in the next election because many, many people were left stunned and disgusted by these policies.

The first step is for every Conservative and Republican to take a real interest in their child's education. Family dinners without cell phones where serious questions are asked about what they learned that day and what the liberal teachers tried to teach them. Then protest and even take the schools to court if they are not being taught fundamental education and instead being fed propaganda. It is up to them before anyone else.

Next, those without kids, make sure by voting in good legislatures and school board members, etc, that are interested in making America greater by educating kids in basic principals, science, math, etc. and not propaganda.

Which is not say that our educational system does not need a great amount of work to change, government support, and a restructuring of the Dept. of Education, starting with the no-nothing Betsy DeVos and her cockeyed shenanigans.
