Understandable since Macron has tried blaming Trump for the protests that ignited after he went after more taxes on gasoline to pay for their climate control endeavors..
The French felt slighted, and that Macron did not put the “people first”so Macron turns around and says Trumps “ America First was a slap to all in trying to work together.. pppffftttt~~
The win was great but turning it into a political venture ridiculous.. It basically just took away from yet another victory to a seedy affair of Politics...

The only brave French guy I know of was named General Lafayette. Very helpful in our fight to gain freedom from the Brits.

This poll from early June 2019 in France shows Macron at 30% Favorable vs. Trump at 19%. Trump is highly supported by people that are sick of open borders and Macron putting other EU countries before France. Also the Yellow jackets that want better gasoline prices and more LPG to be bought from America. France's big cities tend to support Macron because of their easy access to socialists freebies.
But more importantly, Macron is only at 30% favorable, so there are a lot of French standing on the sidelines, waiting to see what happens. However, the over riding reason EU does not like Trump is simply, they will be loosing the free ride dollars from American citizens with the trade imbalance changes.

True, I don’t particularly like his language, or some of his tweets, but understand why he feels he has to be the way he is. He is not a politician, which has been good for us to get back to the great America we used to be!
