it's ok to own slaves; etc.
It still is in many places, including the good old United States. Just don't tell the government. They call them 'human traffickers' these days. Slavers just the same.

Male/female is sex.
Yes, it is the determinant for reproductive roles in every species on the Earth, including the human species.

Woman/ man is gender identity.
I see, so what then is girl / boy then? Is that also an 'identity'? Is an adolescent female a boy and an adolescent male a girl? What about babies? Are they also simply 'identifying', or are we adults giving them 'labels' they may object to but have no ability to make their 'identities' known as yet?
What about babies in the womb? Are they also indeterminate until they decide for themselves how they wish to 'identify'? How far down this rabbit hole are you willing to go?

Woman and female are not equivalents.
You're absolutely right, they're not. If they were, then a female cow could also be a woman and a woman could also be a female cow. Woman is a species identifier, just as cow or sow or hen are.

Female is biology, woman is psychology and or sociology.
And never the twain shall meet, eh? Just because some scientist somewhere tells you that you have a daughter, you know different, don't you, because you know all about the social and psychological stuff, right? After all, your daughter will not be hindered by being told that she is one day going to develop into a woman and have children of her own, is she? No, of course not. Because you'll deny it to her dying day.

What is a woman? Whatever she wants to be and whatever role she chooses in her life. Pretty simple really.
That's called freedom, not biology, psychology or sociology. That's her freedom to choose her own path and make her own way in life. That's a right she was born with and you try to deny her because you tell her she is something she isn't, setting her up for an epic failure down the road by misunderstanding herself and her strengths / weaknesses.
Try telling her to embrace her womanhood and she will use those inherent strengths to excel where you never knew she could - where her talents lie, where you told her not to look. And remember, behind every successful woman stands a proud man, admiring her for the woman that she is.
