Ooh, I do like Stella Artois. I also like Modelo Negra with lime; comes from Mexico (does it have drugs in it?).

Ooh, I do like Stella Artois. I also like Modelo Negra (comes from Mexico). I wonder if it is spiked with some kind of drug?

I was just at the grocery store, several people back in line where I observed an obviously Muslim gal watching the checker sack up groceries. Well, then she followed the elderly woman who bought them out with the old lady pushing her own cart, and brought the cart back in. This happened one other time while I was there, and I watched the person put their own stuff in their car in the parking lot.
I had to fight off 3 teenagers in order to carry my 3 sacks, and 6 pack of beer by myself.

WTF??

OK.......Let the fur fly! I'll be outside.

Where I shop for groceries, when you come out of the store there is a pretty good slope downhill. I frequently see elderly people struggling to hold back their cart until the lot levels out. I always ask if I can help. Anytime, and I mean ANYTIME you do something to help a person in need, it will come right back at you and you will be blessed.
I think more and more, people are getting weary of the strife within this country and are realizing that a little kindness creates a peaceful feeling (yes, a warm felling)in the one giving of themselves and a sense of appreciation and thankfulness to those on the receiving end.
These little acts usually take less than a minute, but the good feelings can last all day.

I like Blue Moon with a slice. At the casino where I go occasionally, order up a 'Blue Moon' and throw them a dollar or two and you're set. What a country!!!!!!

You know that is such a good point. Maybe if we all concentrated on a little more of that, it would spread. Nice thought, maximus. Get pretty nasty on OPP, so maybe I'll try to turn over a new leaf. I'm sure it'll last at least 24 hours. I've only told one person to "go to Hell" so far, so maybe it's working.

I wasn't clear enough.
This person appeared to be a store employee.
The checker person scans the products while the sacker person bags them. After the transaction is complete, the sacker person pushes the buggy full of the customer's purchases out, and loads them in the vehicle.
At least, that's how it's done here.
This just seemed really odd to me.

It’s called “respect for the elderly”. You may not have ever heard of that...
