So, what exactly would you have them 'do'? In my opinion, having them do nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, is probably the safest bet we could make.

Ok, so how many women were married and didn't want to have anymore babies because that idiotic husband refused get his tubes tied or the woman decided to forget taking the pill?

...in any event...what is your point? Splitting hairs to determine when a pregnancy is viable isn't even the issue anymore. It is legal, and under federal guidelines, a woman, if she is willing to pay for it can get an abortion.
When I was in the Navy, a fellow sailor apparently, given all of the training and knowledge of why he and his wife shouldn't have any more children, due to some kind of genetic defect they were passing along to their child: couldn't restrain themselves. He was forced to get a vasectomy.
I don't think any woman considers an abortion as birth control and if the only way to get that abortion is declare her relations as a rape, so be it. Lot more nice Christian boys are going to prison. Good riddns'
