Maybe your thinking of King Melchizedek who blessed Abram, (so Prophethood came from the blessing of man not God) I read once that King Melchizedek was the inspiration for the concept of a Christ as an intermediary between good and bad, not like the Levites who are (Samaritan Levites still genealogical traceable) the property of God representing good people as the "spiritual medium" between Divinity and man.

Rabbi Dovid Weiss is good on this question, I try to catch his meaning sometimes but so far unsuccessfully, the best I can come up with is, - to be banished is to be ostracised from acceptance.

We only can understand the bible from our personal psychology so because personality differs from persona and we are the image of God, as in the morphological person and so capable of personality comparable to God, but we are not the persona of God like the aspect of God's Character that is perceived by others as God the individual, I could never convince anyone I was God , if I was God everyone would be dead already sort of thing.

So a biblical prophet as a secular identity is a Hindu Holy man lying on a bed of nails fasting for months at a time hoping for inner banishment of desire as the ostracism from the truth that we desire in favour of the truth we know in terms of reverse psychology.

Indeed seemingly foolish, but not as foolish as rejecting RT friend as the Messiah because from a biblical perspective a prophetic point of view is to redeem inner strength from Divine Association, my association, by believing in the truth empirically perceived and cleansed by a conscious development of rationalism learned from the history and prehistory of eschatology.

People are leaving the coast because it's all become suburban, where I am you have to have 110 acres before you can build a residence, but even then there are people using their properties for business without any authority, like wedding venues, rave parties, so there is still arguments.

I actually could use my place as a motorcycle racing venue, but I'm one of the people that go to meetings to enforce the laws, so I wouldn't be very successful as a cheat.
