Without the vote of the 'to young to know what is up' the democrats are doomed. As is the main qualification to be on the democrat ticket is a harden criminal with a warped mind willing to kill anyone standing in their way. Turn voting age to voter IQ would end the party of low life traitors today.

Gee Wizz, badbob85037!! Tell us how you really feel. Lol

I like the idea of changing voter age to voter IQ though.

More importantly, Mike.... a Constitution-Exit exam.

You said it all then. "They won't be here to suffer the results."

Voter age to Voter IQ....

Wouldn't that result in the dumbest amongst us voting the earliest?

Or is it somehow scaled...

Nope. That's a push toward elitism. But tax payers, yes. Income tax means you're a contributing member of society.

And everyone should take a Constitution - Exit Exam too among other things.

There’s been talk of lowering the voting age to 16. For me, this is preposterous. 16 year olds should be concerned about graduation and prom, they, for the most part, have little if any life experience, and have a long way to go in terms of gaining knowledge.

I think voting for the President and Vice President, the age should be raised to 35. After all, it is the required age to hold such office....

Change my mind.

I would say raise the age to 21. Most have had some life experience by then. They want to lower the age to 16 because most students have been brain washed while in school and easily manipulated.

Should have a test...
100 questions...
The number answered wrongly would be they age one could vote at...

Example: 78/100 would allow one to vote at the age of 22 (100-78=22 )...

The test could be administered at graduation...
One could retake the test if one graduated from university...

It's not perfect... But would ensure that a lot of people with no knowledge of the constitution couldn't vote...

Ok. Then shouldn’t I be allowed to be the president at age 21?

That’s actually pretty darn good, CD. What would constitute a failing grade, below 65?
That would put us right at the 35 mark.
