Change it? Why would any sane person want to do that. You're absolutely right. In my opinion, a v****g age of 26 sounds about right. That's enough time to mature and gain sufficient knowledge and experience to make sensible decisions in the political realm.

Better still, maybe there should be some type of 'political awareness' test applied to those who are wanting to v**e for the first time to determine whether they are knowledgeable and mature enough to make such decisions, regardless of age.

You know Larry, one thing that has been a constant so far is so many people willing to up the age even if just a little, and offer, such as tophat and others, a required test. Even those that consider themselves on the left. I find that to be very interesting. I thought I would have gotten more people suggesting that I was crazy, lol, and try to change my mind, but nobody has. Seems we could all find a common ground here. Thanks for your comments.

Wouldn't even try to change your mind since I agree wholeheartedly. But trying to get the brainwashed juveniles into the v****g area is no different that getting all the non citizens in to v**e as well. As long as there is money at Democrat disposal to provide all the things the 'hangers on' get for free, this will go on. Only solution I see short term is to close the border to immigration as well as any other way to 'sneak into the country and v**e all Democrats out of office.

In fact, Lafayette came to America and assisted George Washington during the revolution. It's been a while since I read about Lafayette's young life, and association with George Washington and the revolution, so, I could be a bit incorrect about some of this stuff.

In any event, equating the maturity level of men like Lafayette and others, of those times, with the youth of today, isn't practical.
