I do understand your perspective, but please don't prejudge my motives. Long before I really researched and began to understand Trump, I at one time thought he might be a serious contender. Although I've always thought his life style was a bit flashy and over the top, his brash, seemingly "no nonsense" attitude was refreshing. However, a closer look reveals many basic character flaws (lying, pre-judgmental, narcissistic and misogynistic) that are unbecoming of any leader, especially he who would be president. Secondarily, his personal character leaves much to be desired. A man who would repeatedly cheat on one wife with the next -and then berate and degrade others for doing less - is just not my idea of what a president should be. In regards to your bash on Obama: 1) he is no longer president and is therefore irrelevant to this topic, 2) contrary to your beliefs, Bush left a virtual mess of the presidency, and 3) Obama received absolutely nothing but opposition from the republican side from day one. Any attempt to lessen the negative persona of Trump will never be achieved by comparing him to Obama -there really is no comparison. Isn't it a bit like the pot calling the kettle black when you claim "Obama blamed Bush" and from the beginning Trump has "blamed nearly all of his shortcomings on Obama?" I've heard it said: "what's good for the goose is good for the gander." What do you think?
I do understand your perspective, but please don't... (

Please state how Trump has "blamed nearly all of his short comings on Obama"? He has blamed Obama for not doing more to help the country with the immigration problem. That is true. Obama said the first thing he would take on is the immigration problem and then failed to do that when he had full control of both houses of Congress.
