Not that it would be of any particular interest to any of you, but I basically threw in the towel on this site. This morning. I wanted to explain why, as I know for a fact that there are many of you who hold similar thoughts.
It's one thing to share interesting articles, funnies, and have thought provoking, intelligent discussions with those of whom you may disagree. But it's quite another to dominate a forum with nothing but vile, name calling, hate filled blather, 100% directed toward our President of the United States! I don't know who wins the prize for the vilest of posts, be it Bab Bob or Kevyn, but the sheer volume of Bob's posts today...eight (8)...was over the top for me. You may be thinking "so don't read them". Believe me I don't, and haven't for a very long time. But why waste my time wading through their garbage in search of something edifying. Let them dominate this forum. There are others out there. I hope to find more Pee Wees, Bad Bobbies, Full Spin, No Pro, AuntiE, Prouds, Carols, Emilys, Lindas.....and can't forget Sici! Good luck to y'all.

I wanted to voice my opinion about the nightmare that is Trump's election. I have never seen such hatred towards a man who is trying to help the country. Everything that Trump does is not golden but the left seems to think it should be.
I went through the learning process on OPP, had a few posts deleted, try to NOT post insulting pictures, and I don't call anybody names.
Everybody has a right to their opinion, but the name calling can get to you. So, I almost left OPP a few time, but I didn't.
Why? Because that is exactly what the leftists want. One tactic they use is to insult you over and over until you quit the ball game.
Well, I'm not quitting. I'll ignore the name calling and try to back up my thoughts with facts. I believe that itr's important for the left to see that conservatives will stick together in unity against a front that makes no sense.
