Not that it would be of any particular interest to any of you, but I basically threw in the towel on this site. This morning. I wanted to explain why, as I know for a fact that there are many of you who hold similar thoughts.
It's one thing to share interesting articles, funnies, and have thought provoking, intelligent discussions with those of whom you may disagree. But it's quite another to dominate a forum with nothing but vile, name calling, h**e filled blather, 100% directed toward our President of the United States! I don't know who wins the prize for the vilest of posts, be it Bab Bob or Kevyn, but the sheer volume of Bob's posts today...eight (8)...was over the top for me. You may be thinking "so don't read them". Believe me I don't, and haven't for a very long time. But why waste my time wading through their garbage in search of something edifying. Let them dominate this forum. There are others out there. I hope to find more Pee Wees, Bad Bobbies, Full Spin, No Pro, AuntiE, Prouds, Carols, Emilys, Lindas.....and can't forget Sici! Sorry to see you go. Perhaps a break will be enough and you may feel like rejoining us after a while, of course it is your choice. Keep in mind though l*****ts like silencing opposition. As well as their unhinged, rabid hatred of President Trump, (and let's face it, hatred for those who v**ed for him and support him as well,) the tactic of personal insults and spewing garbage does often work in silencing those who disagree with them. Sorry, to see you leave; I, too have noticed what happened at OPP, a few characters there are really out of this world but I wouldn't let them chase me off the stage. I just ignored them because there are more good and wise people whom we can exchange ideas and opinions with in productive way.

As a man says "don't argue with i***ts it would make you an i***t too". And I also say "don't let i***t ruin your day just ignore it"
