One time while traveling in Sichuan province we ate at a small restaurant out in the countryside... Three bites in and my entire body was shaking... My tastebuds were so burnt out that the beer tasted like cola...
I have never found Mexican food to be all that spicy...
Thanks for the visual though... Prairie fires

I had a similar experience with some in country Thailand cuisine. Must have been peppers with a 500,000,000 Scoville heat unit. Don't recall ever being brave enough to try any suspicious Thi food since. Cut everything with a bit of mayo now days, even Chineese hot mustard gets a dollop of Hellman's mayo.

Very understanding of you...
I buy all of my beef and sheep from the Local Muslim market (fresher)....
Dedicated to God is dedicated to God...
I even said Bismillah once while slaughtering a chicken I planned to cook for my Muslim friends... Apparently if a Christian says the words it is still considered halal...

There is not much difference in food restrictions between Jews and Muslims, obviously different clergy give their blessing to the food that is allowed to be eaten. Halal is the Arabic word for allowed or permitted. Incidentally, a practicing Muslim who eats non halal food is no more condemned to damnation than a practicing catholic is if they eat a hot dog on Friday during lent.
