Yes the last two years the republicans held the majority, but they only had fifty one votes in the senate, whereas they needed sixty to pass border funding into law, but, not one democrat senator would go along with border wall funding. So stop with the, he had a majority, because it doesn't ring true and just shows what hacks Schumer and his sheep buddies the democrats are. The democratics all, including, Schumer, Pelosi, Biden and, yes, even Obama,voted,for the wall on more than one occasion, so why won't they now? I would submit to you, that the only reason they won't now, is because President Trump wants it.

I don't think so. I think he is just changing strategies. How do you deal with a demented old bag like Pelosi? If she won't even talk about the possibility of a wall, Trump had to go in a different direction. It was no sense in keeping the government shut down forever and Pelosi still not giving in. Why not open the government back up and go the national emergency route? If you can't run through them, then run around them. I don't know that he has any other choice in the matter. Going a different route isn't giving up. I hope not at least.
