You are either very stupid, ignorant of the facts, of a Trump hater. The President has remain in DC the entire time sending proposals to the Democratic side that give them almost everything they are asking for in attempts to bring them to the bargaining table. So far Schumer spent time in the Bahamas vacationing while Pelosi spent a vacation in Hawaii. Afterwards many Democrats took a vacation to PR staying in expensive hotels and eating in 5 star restaurant's all at taxpayers expense. Just last week Nancy was ready to board a Government flight to Brussels, Egypt, and the Middle East with her family and friends as well as lobbyists for another trip that amounted to another vacation instead of remaining in DC to negotiate the budget. The only thing that stopped her was the President saying no you can't take a Government plane at taxpayers expense. No matter what the President has proposed the Democrats have said "NO!" before even looking at it. All the President wants is 10% of the money the Democrats asked for to secure the border!

The United States Congress doesn't buckle to extortion. They have passed legislation to open the government. The senate needs to vote on that legislation and send it to the president. They have done their job now it's up to the senate. They just need to get to investigation, corruption hearings, subpoenas and articles of impeachment.

While Trump is waiting at the Whitehouse for Nancy and Chuck to come and negotiate, those two jokers are off on their third vacation since the shutdown. They refuse to negotiate, so now the shutdown is on them. If they refuse to negotiate, they can no longer blame the president. Neither does Trump! The supposed delay of the State of the Union Address by Pelosi was extortion, Pelosi telling Congress they "had to vote for the ACA bill to see what was in it" was extortion and there are many other instances where Dems used extortion and called it "compromise".

Thousands of nonessential workers are not being paid (different from losing wages) because 22+ million criminal illegal aliens are here in the USA and 2000 more are apprehended every day. Finally we have a president who is not willing to turn his back on this criminal activity and is fighting obstructive Democrats who are more concerned with these criminals, completely disregarding the murders, killings, rapes, robberies, etc, etc, they commit on citizens, than they are in finding a solution and putting a stop to the invasion. They deny Mr. Trump the same effective wall they gave Obama because they don't like him. No doubt here who has the best interest of America and her citizens in his heart and mind and who is acting like a petulant child.

When the house leader calls a recess, what are the republicans supposed to do, show up and twiddle their thumbs? The republicans are working in the senate, where under republican leadership, the senate is still open for business. Pelosi and Schumer are the problems, not Trump.
