Lololol, the visual to this is hysterical!!!!!!

You should see some of them on Saturday night when they get drunk. Setting around singing or telling old war stories.

Very seldom do they get in a fighting mood.

Maybe because the Sgt. Major is about 6'5" and a solid muscled 250 pounds and is hell on wheels when he has to be.

Cool tempered but hell on wheels when he has to be.

Sorry badbobby, it was a boat niggers bar. Everyone was welcome. Most all were ocean going sailboat racers and locals. We did have our share of personalities as the owners of said boats were pretty well known. Ted Turner for one. He was the most hard driven skipper I ever raced for as well as the scariest. He was driven and would put the boat and crew as well as himself thru almost impossible situations. I was totally burned out by 26, both physically and mentally. You are right in that it wasn't a low class bar but it wasn't Marmadukes. In the 70's, Annapolis was a great place to live. We had Sam's, a hole in the wall on the water front where you could drink beer outside, standing only both inside and out as the entire interior consisted of cases of beer stacked one on top of another., and rub elbows with Washington Pols., local pols and celebs. Sam was an old Jew and his only help was an old black man. Man, what I wouldn't give to experience that again. To be young, virile, able to leap buildings in a single bound. Hell, we were Super men and Women. Thanks for the memories Bobby. Mike

I have never acquired a taste for alcohol, but my employees love Grandpaws secret corn squeezing and prefer it over even Jack Daniel's they claim it is smoother and have no hangover the next day.

I do know they save lots of money making the legal limit allowed by law. I believe the longest it has EVER aged was a little over a month when they forgot where they hid a couple Fifths.

Is that corn squeeze AKA white lightning?? If so, will have to pass.. That stuff is strong enough to pop your eyes our, take your breath away and make you wobbly on your feet... lolol At least the one and only time I had any that’s what it did to me.~~

Forgot where they hid it, too funny...

Some would call it "White Lightening" it is pure alchohol. 180 proof, the men cut it by half adding coke, Pepsi, tea or plain water to make it 90 proof. The men sware it is smoothe and never leaves you with a hangover. I tried it in my teens and liked it's smoothe taste.

Now lindajoy I am a little too old to get romantically involved with anyone.

At my age all one can do is pat her on the behind and say good night.
