I agree the Dim-O-Crats passed a lot of bills but nothing to address the problem of wall security.

McConnell is not setting on it. The Senate Dim-O-Crats don't have the votes to pass it.

Thanks to the Obama era 60 vote mandate imposed to prevent Republican from stopping Dim-O-Crats bills from being voted down.

That rule is now working against the Dim-O-Crats and it's their own fault.

Anyway one looks at it, our government is in ideological gridlock with any form of compromise simply out of the question. What would be wrong with negotiating a compromise of say giving Trump three and a half billion for the wall? This would be a drop in the bucket considering the obvious waste in the budget foisted on us tax payers through their pork barrel nonsense. Of course this is simply out of the question with the open borders, TDS afflicted illegal alien loving democrats.

That is my idea of a tough negotiation... lot of money to sit on a desk.. impressive.. glad you got the tract..

As for the non-negotiation, I have not seen any report of who said what first, but trump did walk out and that was the end-before-it-started to negotiations..

Now we also have at least one bill sitting on McConnell desk that could put pay back in workers pockets..

Thank you.

My attorney is looking at another adjoining 477 acre track, I am leery of it as it floods when the Mississippi river floods and few trees grow in the area mostly marsh land and bayou now worth the asking price.

trump will not negotiate... he, like a spoiled rich kid, demands his wall or nothing at all.

So all those in hardship over this can thank only trump for the problems.. Makes no difference, pay less or travel problem or no access to some federal park or facility. it is trumps doing and he will let them all hang..

I may check that out, I believe the 60 vote requirement does not stand for this type of vote.. only a basic majority... all that stuff you mention was when McConnell was blocking/holding all the judges Obama wanted to appoint, the was expanded to include SC justices also.. all that due to McConnell black politics..
trump will not negotiate... he, like a spoiled ric... (show quote)

Don't get "Racist" about politics. That is right down the Dim-O-Crats alley. Always using race as a last resort.

I employee over 50 Negros that hate being called "Black". Even some of the Cajuns are of mixed blood and they will slit your throat if you call them black.

It's not about the wall, it's about stopping any thing the President proposes to help America that the Dim-O-Crats are against.

Well said 'old jarhead''! Pelosi & Schumer could care less about governing in a responsible way. Their mission in life is to stop President Trump in each and everything he tries to do, commonly known as TDS.

Here is how to make Democrats do their job.
Strap on ankle brackets with a monitoring/GPS device until they fund the wall.
If they attempt to leave beyond a short radius from their DC residence to the capital building/their office; they get a shock that intensifies as they distance them selves from the perimeter.

And we were told how devastated PR was after hurricane Maria. It was sooooo bad that many Puerto Ricans fled, came here and got on welfare. Now the political elite go there to party instead of doing their jobs here in America.

What’s wrong with this picture?

Trump gave up his Christmas vacation trying to close a deal with the Dems to fund the border wall. The Dem’s went home to celebrate.

Trump has offered concessions, but the Dem’s have flat out refused to consider them. They refuse to negotiate.

While the President remains in the Oval Office To Close the deal, the Democrats bask in the sun on the beaches in Puerto Rico.

Their obvious lack of concern for America and the Federal Worker is appalling!

That would be considered a demorcatic failure and a campaign promise kept. The
Dim-O-Crats will never allow that.

I prefer cutting their paychecks if they are not on the job working. That will hurt them them the most.

Lone Wolf: Trump AND the Democrats shut down part of the government.
Trump understands the "art of the deal" which includes compromise.
The Democrats refuse to compromise.
The leaders of the Democrats have advocated a wall in the past. Many have voted for walls on our southern border.
People must realize that Democrats and their media lackeys oppose ANYTHING TRUMP ADVOCATES or does.
They are filled with illogical hate and an unbridled lust for power. Democrats in DC and the media act like other left wing ideologues, Nazis and Communists.

Considering how many Dem congressmen and senators have voted for walls and fences on the border in the past, and how many have walls around their properties, and how many have bodyguards, it amazes me that they have the audacity to call walls immoral and useless.
It amazes me how they and the media ignore immigrant attacks on Americans.
It amazes me how the media protects them and ignores immigrant attacks on Americans.
Most of all, it amazes me how many Americans fall for their hypocracy and indifference to Americans who are attacked, raped, murdered. Voters who have been taught by the media and dem leaders to hate so deeply.

The truth is, McConnell isn't going to the President with something that he knows won't get signed.
