I know there are several passages in the Bible about the greatness of Jesus, we praise him, we adore him, and we worship him. But that song itself is not written in the Bible.

I agree the song is very beautiful, but did not originate from the Bible. Man composed it.

Just because Jesus shed blood to forgive our sins, you Protestants believe that you can do all kinds of sins since Jesus had washed away your sins.? So with your concept that Jesus shed blood to wash away your sins, you Protestants loaded with sins could also enter his Kingdom. Zemira, I don't think so.

Before we could enter the Kingdom of Christ, we must be pure for He is Pure.

Same here the First Assembly of God Church here that I attended has gone with this new style of music and almost all of us old timers have left as well. They have changed the name of the Church at least three times since I have left and in my opinion they are getting further from the truth with each passing year. Most of the members that were there when my late wife and I attended there are gone and now it is a whole new crowd that is inhabiting the church. They even redid the interior of the church to there own liking which I personally can't stand. I guess that I am over the hill and set in my ways. When I mentioned that I didn't care for the service and the music they told me that they had an old timers service in a different sanctuary on Wednesday evening if I wanted to attend that. That building is further from the door and those of us that have trouble with walking makes it to difficult for us to go there. So I stay home and worship on the internet with a church in the area that preaches as I am used to.
