Whether it's AlGore ManBearPig's environment ravings or Barack Hussein Obama's bungled, confused international policies, we all know there is a movement in the USA (Almost exclusively USA, by the way) for *One World* government. But that incredibly child-like movement is definitely not new. It seems to have become popular amongst the campus elite sometimes in the 1930s and grew into a sizable roar in 1944.
The Democrats (socialists by any other name) were often espousing the virtues of One World Government in the middle of WWII and Republicans of the day were for national identity and sovereignty for which the socialists called them 'Isolationists'.

So, this crap we see thrown into our faces by today's anti-American progressives is nothing new, is it? Open borders, turning over our military and our wealth to a world government seems to have been with us now for some eighty or ninety years. It's not some Big New Idea by any means. The concept is, like the children's crusade that ushered Obama into office, a movement of the immature and dream-driven children whom we adults must somehow guide without damage into the real world.

Wish us luck... we're going to need it as the soft demands of today have produced millions upon millions more of those children than ever before.

Num Num,

When was the last time you were in a public school? Was it when you dropped out in the third grade? Write about something you know something about.

The USA was founded with the understanding that "Government that Governs Best, Governs Least"... Our Forefathers lived under "Big Government" and understood that System surpresses the Individual... They established a "Limited Government" & We Individuals Have Thrived on This... We Need To Re-Institute "Limited Government" to Help We the Indivuals Thrive...

That sounds great, but two things:
First, we had just had a non-governing Articles of Confederation that every single American state choose to abandon for a stronger federal government.
Second, we no longer live in a sparsely populated agrarian country.

Hope those two thoughts don't cause you to have a bout of uneducatedness.

Not to turn this into something other than what you were trying to say, the idea of one world government comes from the bible and is a sign of the end times. There will be one government and the leader will be the anti-christ. There will be the mark of the beast (something on the forehead or in the forearm - like the id chip people have tried repeatedly to get into law) and without that mark, people will not be able to buy or sell.
Not trying to preach to anyone or convert anyone this morning, just giving the background for the idea. Have a great day!

Who knows.. but Satan's minions will present themselves wherever in forms most cannot suspect.

616 could be the identifier.

Well concern yourself not, for I think of the world being bigger than the boundaries of the USA.

Get an Atlas.

So you think the USA Constitution intended to allow the Federal Government to expand into this?!? It gave a Structure to the Federal Government that the Articles of Confederation lacked... But Our Constitution was still suppose to Restrict Federal Governing... The 10th Amendment states:

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

LIMITED POWER TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WAS OUR FOREFATHERS' THINKING...

John Dewey and Saul Alinsky both taught taking-over education to take-over the country. We were propagandized in h.s. and college in the 60's and 70's. My step-daughter's history and sociology books misrepresent significant aspects of this country, founders and politics and she regularly complains about teachers telling them what to think rather than critical-thinking. Currently Global Warming and "conservatives" figure prominently...

Yes, it's just too bad that, during the last 80 years, when Republicans had the reigns - they didn't do something about this. Were I either a Republican OR a Democrat, I'd be embarrassed to bring things like this up, since I'd be responsible for it. Neither party can claim any prizes for being the best, since they've both had ample opportunity to prove it - and failed. The continuous rhetoric here that says otherwise is utterly shameful.

So the USA was 80 years Republican?

Annnnd, since it was run by both Democrats and Republicans prior to that, presumably, that's why we are so effed up?

Got a solution?

Yeah, vote independent and break up the caucuses. Maybe, after losing power, either or both parties would go back to their roots. Forcing the Congress to pay attention to ALL the American people, might turn the corner and get some common sense back. Political sense and common sense are miles apart right now.

Our forefathers were thinking of a one shot, muzzle loading pistol, rifle, and cannon. They were thinking then and times have changed. They weren't referring to semi automatic, multiple shot, fast loading, machine guns, ground to air missles, etc for obvious reasons. Times change our thinking should also change accordingly.
