The founding fathers were thinking in terms of the present day military small arms. That would carry over today seamlessly to today's common military small arms.

I seldom use the term 'l*****t' and instead use a more modern, more accurate term derived from what's real today. A term derived from what has become a seamless blend of amorphous Democrats and Progressives - DemProgs.
