Sunday they caught her again.

Of course there aren't....but even an old dusty leatherneck would know if you (and your buddy) hold a woman down against her will, cover her mouth to prevent her screaming, and attempt to remove her clothing - that is ATTEMPTED rape. Perhaps its time to take your medicine and catch a nap.

Oh. I thought the testimony was that KAVANAUGH held her down, then the buddy jumped on them and she escaped. More telephone?

Your opinion. And everybody has one.

With the sham of an "FBI investigation" which was controlled by the WH and those who need to be investigated, and ignored key potential witnesses, one would wonder how republicans could even look at themselves in a mirror.....until one remembers who we're talking about.....crooked republicans. Thank God that Mueller is almost done and November is right around the corner. I believe the republicans will face a serious "reckoning" come November.....and that IS my opinion.

That is what I said, Kavanaugh held her down, put his hand over her mouth to prevent her screams, and tried to remove her clothing....thanks for repeating me, but what's your point?

Technically, Judge "jumping on top" adds to "holding her down" since you want to be technical. Point is, although she didn't claim it, that is ATTEMPTED rape....wait a minute, are you from the United States?

The questions was: "have you ever been a heavy drinker or drank to the point of blacking out?" do you understand what that means?

try this: https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2018/10/3/1801370/-Kavanaugh-Yale-suitemate-heard-about-the-incident-Ramirez-described-within-days-of-its-occurrence?detail=emaildkre

That's different than the post I responded to.
And, what is the standard for what would be considered a heavy drinker?
As for blacking out goes, how do we know that Ford wasn't in that condition, and just has no clue what happened?

It's all he said/she said garbage that is politically motivated. Period. You know it, and I know it.

File criminal charges, and let the lawyers hammer it all out, or leave it be. It's all 36 year old hearsay.

That was not the testimony Ford swore to.

She couldn't remember where it took place, couldn't remember how she got up stairs, who all were in the room.

But she knows for sure it.was Brett Kavanaugh because of all that money she got to remember it was Brett Kavanaugh.

Ruskin troll?
Ahem....she's an American citizen who LEGALLY immigrated here. Just like my German mother in law, and much of my wife's family.

I'm not so eager for him to fold. You see when I heard they were doing an fbi background check (to my knowledge it's the first time in history) and all 7 came out the same. Def. of insanity. Anyway, I followed the money and guess where it led. Clintons? No, but a very good guess, think richer than $200 million. George Soros, there and then to me it was game over this is a fake.

Archie: I'm guessing here, but I think a "heavy drinker" would be one that drinks frequently, is "known" to consume large amounts of alcohol, and is known to drink to the point of slurring, or being incoherent, and/or stumbling. We don't know if that was Ford's condition, which is why the FBI should have done a "real" investigation and questioned others who were there.

There have been numerous reports from Kavanaugh's friends that not only was he a "heavy and frequent" consumer -but that he often became belligerent and aggressive when he drank -proof of that is in the very "calendars" he presented at the hearing. BTW - how many high school kids keep their calendars for 36 years -a yearbook yes...but calendars?

There are also reports (and even emails are available) that show Kavanaugh reaching out to his buddies to "support him on these accusations" BEFORE Ford's accusations became public? How did Kavanaugh know that this would become public IF Feinstein and democrats "hid" the accusations? How, in good conscience could the FBI, republicans, and Trump ignore all of those potential witnesses?

Don't forget that many of the accusations against Cosby were 40 years old....it didn't stop him from being convicted though. But just as important is the fact that Kavanaugh lied many times to the committee about his drinking habits, his work under Bush, and even claimed he's a "neutral arbiter who is not partisan" -yet during his testimony he ranted and raved that "the Dems were politically attacking him because of the Clinton's and losing the 2016 election." He has proven he is NOT neutral and that he is partisan and subject to lie even under oath -no matter how people spin the sham FBI investigation.

Other than republicans "scoring a win" -how does placing this man on the SC support the Constitution and laws of this country?

People are attempting to educate you in Law.

There is no such crime as attempted rape.

You can hold a woman down, rub your hands all over her and the only crime is assault, and/or molestation. A charge of rape MUST SHOW PENETRATION.

There is no actual proof Brett Kavanaugh was even there where Ms. Ford claimed it took place
No physical evidence. She can't remember when, where, how.

Apparent you are not. American law LIST no such crime as attempted rape.

That sort of like charging a man coming out of a liquor store with "Attempted Drunk."

If you want to be technical then yes, there is no charge of "attempted" rape. However, in all fairness, what would you call someone who against your will holds you down and attempts to remove your clothing while holding a hand over your mouth - attempted "fun?" In regards to "she can't remember" you might want to look at her testimony at the hearing. She plainly stated, "it was during the summer of 1982....I went upstairs to use the bathroom when I was pushed from behind into a bedroom across from the bathroom....Kavanaugh and his friend Mark Judge.....I ran downstairs and out of the house...." Its on record, but somehow, republicans continue to repeat Trump's lies that "she doesn't remember anything except one beer." I don't know how much you know about Quaalude, GHB, and other drugs that can lower inhibitions and impair memory, but how do we know she wasn't drugged? Many of Kavanaugh's 'friends' have stated it was a known practice for the boys to spike the punch....an "honest and thorough FBI investigation" could have answered many of those questions. However, republicans don't want the truth because they can't handle the truth.

Trump made a deal with Kennedy to "appoint my boy" and I will retire-giving you another SC post to fill. This whole nomination is a sham that stinks to high heaven. But no worries, they will confirm him anyway. When Mueller is done and November is past....we will see how long it lasts.

OK. Where is the proof of his "heavy drinking"? A few people said it? A senator asked him a question about it?
The allegation has been put out there, so it needs to be investigated?
WTF?
This "crime" that he allegedly committed isn't even in the FBI's jurisdiction, and the local police refuse to even consider it.

Who cares if he got hammered a few times in high school, and college? I did!
Hell, you probably did too!!

As far as keeping calendars goes, my 29 year old daughter in law still has all of her calendars, and planners from Jr. High, even. She had her Masters in accounting by the age of 21. Focused people do that, weird as it is.

And I don't know why you bothered to bring up ole Bill. He was tried in a court of law. Not public opinion.

I say let that Ford woman come back before the country, and let a good defense attorney question her, as well as every witness who wishes to come forward, and testify on national television under oath. Then, any who are discovered lying put to death.

This is the biggest theatrical sham, and waste of money, and resources that I've ever seen.

You want your way with SCOTUS picks, and policy changes? Well, try winning some elections.
