Really? Just like Thomas? It is a grievous sin to rob a man of his good name which can never be fully restored. All who participate are guilty! That would be people just like you!

Kavanaugh refuses an FBI investigation to clear himself. YOU do the math.

He refused to answer Durbin’s question: “Would YOU welcome an FBI investigation to clear your name?”

I see you drank the poisoned kool aid the gang of 10 spit out; lapped it up like mother's milk. Is it reasonable for everyone charged with a crime to demand an FBI investigation to prove their innocence even though the FBI has no jurisdiction? Are you familiar how a background investigation, such as the six previously conducted on Judge Kavinaugh, are developed? A portion is done by Kavinaugh first naming several character references. From those references (who will obviously give favorable accounts) the investigator asks, "do you know anyone else who may know him?" The agent developed a long list and very concise opinions and information on those being investigated. Odd that he passed six of these investigations until Progressive Senators wanted to crucify him.

Why would you say that? If they sink him... They must have a good reason. Let’s be fair here. We want judges with a high degree of character. If our elected officials see him as unfit we need to accept that. Let’s put politics in a bag and do what’s right. There are many other good conservative judges to take his place.

One would have to be a fool to believe Democrats would be fair, that they will accept Trump. They will oppose every appointment to the SCOTUS, period! Trump may search for the most staunch conservative females opposed to RoevWade & abortion to be on the court. Let Democrats accuse her of sexual assault. Democrats committed this same act in Alabama. It's a pattern.

That's the worry. And they are still delaying, trying to paint this pic of evil repubs not allowing them to find the truth. They're pushing for a week's delay in the Senate vote. This we can expect more fictional accusers to appear.

Trump should make a big speech about it and refuse to order further FBI investigation. This will go on adnausium.

It won't matter at all to the dems what the outcome of any FBI investigation is. They are not going to vote for him no matter what. They have made that very clear from the beginning. Judge Kavanaugh could take a "real" lie detector test and pass with flying colors and then we would be bombarded with the statistics and just how unreliable polygraphs are. The FBI could do a thorough investigation and find Judge Kavanaugh to be innocent of all these accusations, and the dems would find some reason to find fault with how the investigation was conducted and refuse to give him the thumbs up regardless. This vote will be delayed for at least another week and these democrat senators will still be whining about something. They will bring forth several more witnesses at the eleventh hour (again) and insist on another delay for more investigations. It will never end.

Thank you so much Flake for your dirty dealings with the democrats to help them continue to destroy this man and his family. I have no doubt this was planned all along … just as McCain did with the vote on repealing the ACA … pretend you are planning to vote for this man and then flip the switch at the last second when the final vote count was taken. Yes, the thumb was actually sideways instead of down by forcing "conditions" on the floor vote, but the end result is pretty much the same. Your exit from the Senate cannot come soon enough. Hopefully McSally will have the cojones that you seem to be lacking.

Then there’s the problem of all Kavanaugh’s lies under oath about his drinking. He might not do too well with a polygraph.

Give us some quotes or video which supports your claim, then maybe I can say you are correct.

There’s a video somewhere here on OPP by a classmate at Yale who recorded it after the hearing, saying K. was often fall down drunk. I’m sure the FBI will be talking to her.

Liz Swisher also said she never saw him sexually aggressive even when he was drunk.

Somewhere there's a video of some purported classmate of Kavanaugh's claiming to have, at some time, witnessed a young Kavanaugh drinking to excess. Uh-huh. Kinda like, "I do not remember where it happened, when it happened, how I got there, how I got home, or any other details, BUT I am 100% certain of the "who." Not very believable in my book. When this supposed "classmate" gives a statement under oath, under penalty of a felony as all the other witnesses have done, maybe that might mean something. Until then, it's just hearsay and rumor and benefits no one, but unfortunately--and intentionally--continues to stoke the fire in a sad attempt to lend credence to other false accusations.

And, of course, all the witnesses who have come forward and offered written testimony under oath, under penalty of felony have refuted Ford's unsubstantiated claims. But that information seems to continually be omitted from this type of additional smear.
