I agree, 100%. A wise man once said, "always ask who benefits"? In this case it's the military contractors and all who hold big portfolios in the "defense" industry.

Yes Brian, there are conservatives and liberals that hold these contracts. Please don't say it isn't so. That would be like saying liberals are not smart enough to run any business. Liberals are just as likely to hold stock and contracts for the military as conservatives. They too like the almighty dollar, or should I say the limping dollar over the lives of our servicemen/women.

The 2014 United States elections will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. During this midterm election year, all 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives and 33 of the 100 seats in the United States Senate will be contested in this election. Get out and VOTE!!!!

A movement has been started by our armed forces to get out the vote in 2014.. They are organizing themselves, but this can be done by all of us. The President, the Commander in Chief, has made the Rules of Engagement (ROE) so difficult, that our troops are often killed before they can even get permission to fight. Nothing has been done to stop our troops from being murdered by the Afghanis they are training, either.

Now, the President wants the US to sign on to the UNs International Criminal Court (ICC), which would allow the UN's ICC to arrest and try US troops for War Crimes, without the legal protections guaranteed under US Law, and from which there is no appeal. The President, with his Democratic control of the Senate, has nearly all the power. If the Non-Establishment Republicans, and Conservatives, can take back the Senate in 2014, our troops can once again be protected from unnecessary danger. Please consider this, and send it on to your mailing lists.

Interestingly enough, when GWB was president you heard about the military deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan almost daily. With Obama in the White House, the mainstream media has been strangely quiet. ---

More than 1,000 American soldiers have lost their lives in Afghanistan in the last 27 months. This is more than the combined total of the nine years before. Thirty have died in August. During the last month, over 50 additional NATO and US servicemen have been murdered, inside jobs by those who are hired to be a force for good in Afghanistan.
The commander in chief is AWOL. Not a peep, although he ordered the White House flag flown at half-staff for the Sikhs that were killed. There is a deep disgust, a fury, growing in the ranks of the military against the indifferent incompetence of this president.

It has taken on a dangerous tone. No one knows what to do about him, but the anger runs deep as the deaths continue with no strategic end in sight to the idiocy of this war. Obama has had 4 years to end this futile insanity, during which time he has vacationed, golfed, campaigned, and generally ignored the plight of our men and women in uniform. But, there is now a movement afoot in the armed services to launch a massive get out the vote drive against this president.

Not just current active duty types, but the National Guard, Reserves, the retired, and all other prior service members. This is no small special interest group, but many millions of veterans who can have an enormous impact on the outcome of the November election if they all respond.

The one million military retirees in Florida alone could mean an overwhelming victory in that state if they all show up at the polls. It might not keep another one hundred U.S. troops from dying between now and November, but a turn out to vote by the military against this heart breaking lack of leadership can make a powerful statement that hastens a change to the indifference of this shallow little man who just lets our soldiers die.

How many times are you going to post this piece of crap? Also, Obama is not running for President again, and like your political leaders in congress, you don't have the answers to anything, so you resort to denigrating someone that will be leaving office. CPAC was a prime example. Tell the world what your ideas are and how you would implement them. We already know how much you hate Obama, but you need offer up some solutions and how you would do things differently. Bitching just to hear yourself bitch is a sure sign of desperation.

It's funny that you say that! Aren't liberals still bitching about Bush? Granted he wasn't the best president we ever had, he wasn't the worst either as liberals claim. Here's the part where you claim Obama isn't either. People will debate forever over who was the worst. However, Obama and many liberals still blame Bush for our current misery even though studies have shown that this is the result of the last several presidents combined, democrat and republican alike. Obama has succeeded in making our problems worse, not better. It's time to throughout the D's and the R's and find someone with honor and dignity.
Obama continues to behave as Rodney Dangerfield in his comedy routine about respect. A person has to earn respect, it's not just given to them because they hold a high office. Even the highest office in the land. You can not say you deserve respect and then go out and lie to everyone about your signature legacy law. You can't go out and command respect when you dismiss half of the population as Obama does conservatives. A person will command respect when they behave in a respectful manner to everyone not just their supporters. Yes both parties are guilty of this, you just don't hear many people search for respect the way Obama does. We are told to honor our mother and father, would you still honor them if they weren't honorable?

The reason for that is Obama like the Clintons hate the military. They see it as a loss of money to fund there big give-aways like food stamps and aid to all the illegals.

Yes, yes, find someone to blame. That changes, um, let's see, oh yeah - NOTHING! It doesn't matter a hoot who did what, you'll never get them to admit it and it wouldn't matter anyway. When you don't DO something about a problem, you join the ranks of those who CAUSED the problem. So, blamers are equally guilty with those they're blaming. Here's a news flash, Liberals, conservatives, moderates, progressives, democrats, republicans and any other ideological group you can think of - are responsible. They either did it, contributed to it or allowed it to happen. Continuing to avoid working with anyone you disagree with is guaranteed to ensure that we continue to fail - and continue to blame somebody else.

Your comment validates my point. There is no grand effort on the part of the President to demand respect from you, your ilk, the US Congress or the world. He has already determined that the likes of you hate him and will do anything to vilify and denigrate him, so he is ignoring all the hateful rhetoric. He doesn't need the approval of you and your ilk or other world leaders to do his job, and he is not seeking it. I think this is the main thing that pisses the right wingers off...his ability to brush off those insults and lies and proceed with his agenda without being distracted from the job at hand. While you buy into the right wing talking points about how bad the country is with Obama as President, I again reiterate the fact that none of you, and that includes GOP Congressmen, have any valid ideas on what you would do differently to make the country better. If the only thing the GOP has to offer is criticism of the soon to be departing sitting President, the party is in a world of hurt and is on a death spiral. Mark my word on this.
