Trump is an arrogant asshole. He's narcissistic and personally abusive. I think this makes him less suited to be POTUS than many others.

But it is unquestionably true that Trump is improving the way government affects the American economy.

Trump's policies are intended to allow Americans access to more prosperity and less imposition by the government. That makes Trump vastly more suited for POTUS than Obama or Hillary.

It's about America. Not about the person in the big chair.
No. He's not normal. Obama and Hillary aren't norm... (show quote)

I think the difference is that Prez Trump truly loves America.

I think he does too.. But that's not what's really important.

It what a POTUS does, not what he feels. Look, I understand that what you feel determines to a point what you do, but not totally.

If Trump hated America but MAGA by mistake, he would be a fine POTUS.

If Obama had loved America, but still made the same Anti-American choices he made as POTUS anyway, he still would have sucked as POTUS.

That said, it's great that Trump loves America, but it's better that his love for America is manifested in pro-American policies.

And that was my point. Obama hated America and everything he did showed that. Hilary only loves herself and what she can get, so would've sold America down the river if it meant personal gain for herself. Prez Trump truly loves America so his instincts will be to nurture and build up instead of tear down. I'm a little insulted by your reply, Dave, I'm neither shallow nor touchy feely when it comes to important decisions, like who to vote for.

I hope you're kidding.

I didn't mean to imply that you made decisions because of feelings. If you thought I did, I apologize for not be sufficiently clear.

I also think Obama hates America. It's impossible to believe he could make that many anti-American policies by accident. I think Hillary doesn't give a damn about America, she just wants to squeeze as much wealth out of America for herself as possible.

Democrats, like all swamp dwellers, gain & maintain power (which is how they get their personal wealth) by redistributing the wealth of other people.

Democrats need victims. They need starving supplicants that have no hope and no confidence. That's why MAGA threatens them so. That's why they want to take the tax-cuts away from the American people. That's why they want us energy-dependent. That's why they used regulations to stop businesses from hiring Americans.

Absolutely would like to have this comparison if you will use factual data. You can’t use accomplishments unless you can admit to a trend Ibama inherited versus a trend Trump inherited. Can you show us an accomplishment that he actually has had or a trend he inherited. Now let’s just look at a few things that Trump takes credit for

Now let’s get a good discussion here

What was the unemployment rate when Obama took Office.

What was the unemployment rate when Trump took office in Jan 2017.

How many jobs were available when Obama took office.

How many jobs were available when Trump took office.

What was the stock market at when Obama took office.

What was the stock market at when Trump took office.

What was black unemployment at when Obama took office

What was the black unemployment at when Trump took office.

What kind of an economy did Obama inherit when he took office

What kind of an economy did Trump inherit.

How many illegals were crossing the border when Obama took office

How many illegals were crossing when Trump took office.

That’s just a few questions now anybody that would like to get into this discussion just use factual data and eliminate the insults.

U are like most of the Dumrat Pack on OPP. U are a purveyor of fake news because in your statement you didn't state the fact hat Dumorats blew up the economy starting 30 years ago. I will educate you just a bit in an up coming post.. Your beloved MAXINE WATERS was promoted to the podium of the House where she stated in the 1970s, "every person should be able to buy a house." The Dems in Congress passed a bill signed by Jimmy Carter (U are old enough to remember him aren't you?) This bill was called "The Community Investment & Redevelopment Act." Bill Clinton broadened this Bill during his administration. George Bush did nothing to create the housing bust that almost cost the bankruptcy of the financial & banking industry. I get so disgusted by the ignorance. After a two year sabbatical I came back to see if anything had changed. It has not. The same o same o pushing the pile of poop.

Why do people not appreciate what Pres. Trump has done so far?

What’s there to appreciate?

Tax bill- sure it added a few bucks to my paychecks this year, but experts agree that its going to only continue to do that to wealthiest people after a few years.

Tom, your perception (and perhaps that of others) that Trump is exalted to God-like status and viewed with blind adoration, in my opinion, is somewhat overstated. My perception is that due to the progress of the Country and his policies to date, he is being appreciated for those actions much like any successful football coach or company CEO who has demonstrated a measure of success. What I don't understand is all of the hyperbole and rhetoric directed at him from those who don't want those things to happen, or at least can't see that was is happening is making things better for the majority. What I see is the left focusing on his poll numbers or charges against others that have nothing to do with anything relevant. When 92% of the media is admittedly left-leaning, why would anyone expect a different view from people who are being fed this slanted propaganda (redundant, I know).

You poor jealous little boy.

The people that pay 95% of the taxes are getting a bigger tax cut than those that pay nothing.

Do tell....

You make an unending string of dumb conclusions..

the pay 95% quote is about income taxes, not the dozens of other taxes we taxpayer have to pay..

Your failure to look beyond the present day for the outcome of the tax cut bewilders me..

Do you not care about tomorrow? what about the years ahead, the things you think you need to live a nice life..

Plan now, with the expectation that you will be paying the huge national debt and gift to the rich and orange..

FYI---I feel no jealousy for anyone, except maybe all those young ones who are wasting all the energy and health..

As an old geezer, I did plan my retiring and though it was sooner then that plan, I am quite comfortable and have not money problems and little to whine about other then boredom..

You at least acknowlege that Trump is a jerk. How that makes him suited for the presidency I can't percieve. Before Trump was elected I predicted he would cause a lot of contreversy and that he would be chewed up and spit out. Well look where things stand today. I was not so far off on my prediction. You are right it is about America and not about the man in the chair. That is why we need a humble statesman who puts the average citizens of this country above his own ambitions.

It was an election, not a selection.

It was Trump or Hillary. Easy choice.

Trump had a low bar to jump over, but he's done much better than I expected.
The economy is booming.
ISIS is all but gone.
Unemployment is historically low.

Can anyone imagine Hillary making good decisions? LOL...

Those things look good. It doesn't seem to make a difference in my small area.. I don't like that there is a criminal probe going on and people are going to jail who have associations with Trump. . That cannot be overlooked by me. Wanting to terminate native sovereign status and classify them as a race would be a devastating move on our native peoples. . He has to have rallys a lot of rallys and he incites anger and capitalizes on it. Statements like there will be violence and civil war if the GOP loses in November. What in Sam Hill is going on?
I don't see him being elected for another term and he may even be primaried. In the mean time "Maybe he'll get ran over by a truck" Donald Trumps words.

Trump is POTUS, not lord of America. State and local governments have much to do with your area by design.

Trump cant make your neighbors stop voting Democrat.
