Folks don't seem to understand for the most part that the government is "us". When a dollar is spent by the government it is the taxpayers money that is being spent.
We have elected these people to represent us all of us whether Lib. or Cons. We must understand that the us and them has to stop or we ourselves will panic our nation to destruction.
Old adages and quotes from founding fathers can be used to support both views, but they do nothing to deal with the problems at hand.
We seem to forget that we have people whose bread winner or winners have been out of work not just for week, months, but in some cases a year or more. This is not only devasting to one who has worked all their lives, but it is a sin and a shame how it came about.
Both sides of the isle has to accept their part of being responsibible for the shaape we find ourselves in.
It is time for we the little people to stop being small minded and return to the WE THE PEOPLE, that made this nation what it once was. Let's stop the bickering and let's start some meaningful dialogue. Who knows there just may be a statesman in the bunch.

My concern is whether, when the people decide through their vote what the best route is in taking this country back, the populace will accept voter's decisions. Or, will the losers cry 'foul-play' as they have in the last four presidential elections?
In that case...let the bickering and in-fighting continue.
