Should we go into the fracking debate? Neighboring states allow it New York does not. I don't know if it is more environmental, anticorporatism, or just stupidity. New York has no problem burning natural gas. They just don't want to produce it. Kinda hypocritical.

Anyway it would give the good people of New York jobs and the idiots in Albany would get more tax money to waste. But you can't tell some people anything. Know what I mean?

Poor: Not being able to have your own home, rented or owned. Giving up medicine you need to get the food you need. Hoping warm weather gets here fast because the oil is going to run out and you don't have enough income to get more. And grossing 19 cents too much to get any kind of help, even if we would try that.
My husband has worked in the same place for nine years. His first full year he grossed 29 thousand. With cost of living increases each year, this year he grossed 21 thousand. Huge paycut three years ago. The company only profited six million that year. I guess it wasn't enough for them so the workers had to give up pay for their profit.

I have to wait and see on the dems wrecking things in new York. You won't like this but I am against fracking. Since Cheney helped deregulate how they frack there is an extremely high risk of turning deep well water deathly toxic. This is because they use to frack with high pressure water, now they use oil waste and other toxic chemicals,for example benzene. Not to mention if they're looking for oil when they frack into the ground oils they find can leach into the water table.

Mc Crory is already attempting to go full throttle in NC. What was the first thing he did, he has made it legal that anyone fraking does not have to foreclose what chemicals they are using to do so. What does that tell you right there.

The oil companies will do everything they can to prevent us from moving forward and to get us off oil, of course. That's because they haven't found a new energy source as profitable to turn to.

We are in a time of transition we must press forward to new technologies for energy

If we could collect some tax revenue from the company's that made record breaking profits, we could pay for construction companies to repair our infrastructure so desperately needed. Though it "may be " cheaper
to have government do it, questionable. But than everybody screams socialism.

I don't get it, we have all this infrastructure that has to get done, at the same time the government is letting many military go. I think the military guys would rather keep working and supporting their families, even if it's to help repair a bridge, than to be cut loose.

We watched the "Stimulis" that only stimulated Obama donors! The "shovel ready jobs" As Obama joked, wern't shovel ready, the money, not syphoned off by cronies, went to MORE ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES REQUIRED BY GOVERNMENT. Get that? A handout to the greenies for THEIR support! Demand 5 years of Eco-wacko studies before replacing a bridge, then 50 million to the same wackos for "mitigation"??? CLOSE THE EPA, then give the money to the states involved to make repairs....not to cronies! And as to Fracking......forget the propaganda movie! Not a bit of truth in it! Along with other propaganda from the communist led greenies! THINK! "ONE 55 Gal drum of the new green fuel was delivered to the Air Force for testing? It cost $58.00 a Gallon! "BUT IT"S GREEN!!!". Switching to that will finally destroy our economy and our nation, the ultimate goal of the environmental groups! They have already accomplished their first goal.....convincing the gullible that man has caused global warming ! And that giving "them" control of EVERYTHING will aleviate what isn't happening! When they were exposed they changed to "Climate Change" knowing that it will change with the seasons, as it has done forever! But "give them control of everything" and it will stop???
