Some causes of deformity may be; the mothers deficient nutrient deficiencies, smoking, drinking, drug abuse that effects the quality of the ovum, genetic causes, obesity. the fathers nutrient deficiencies, drug abuse, smoking, the quality of his sperm, genetic deficiencies in his family tree, inbreeding. Now don't blame God for the failure of humans to take care of themselves. Humans have free will and choose their way, be it for good or bad.

The dna of the first humans was not damaged or corrupted. It is quite obvious that the 1st humans even had intercourse with their sisters or brothers. You will notice that God did not disallow intercourse between siblings at first. As time progressed, bacteria, viruses and other life forms compromised the human dna and gene pool. Sin had entered the human race and has ruined everything to this day. The Jewish people were then instructed not to have intercourse with siblings or with parents as God knew the outcome of the union would not be favorable and genetic deformities could be a result. Humans of course are rebellious and further eroded the dna and gene pool so that nowadays our dna is nothing like God's perfect creation.

The real reason for deformities can be found clearly by reading Genesis 2:15 through 3:24. But the problem will be corrected at a future time as described in chapter 3 also.

So just because man responsible for his own morality in no way makes him his own deity--that's just plain silly if that's what you think we think!
Now my question to you is why do you think you are incapable of being moral unless the big man in the sky is leading the way? Man created a social order well before he created the one true god and of course the first word in civilization is civil--that is, for civilization to exist man had to learn how to be civil with each other. So the premise behind thou shall not murder, thou shall not steal, thou shall not commit adultery, etc, etc was laid well before the god of Moses came onto the scene. So if man learned to be moral before Moses chiseled his commandments into stone what makes you think morality escapes you unless a deity is holding your hand?
And if you believe that your god is omnipotent and omniscience plus the creator of all life then where is the fallacy in the argument that god must then be responsible for all miscarriages? I mean, you have a god who knows how the life will end before he even created it so if a fetus is lost to miscarriage who else could be behind it but the being who knew its fate when he created it?
