How refreshing it is to see a post that properly uses the words "your" and "you're".

Our streets could be as safe as it is in Russia if only we would adopt their strict gun control laws.

Open your eyes! We will be a frontier state again. We (Texans) are getting a lot of flack from other Governors in other states because we do not accept money from Washington. Because Washington just does not give money away, even though they do have printing presses. They will want something for it. We have a balanced budget-Hell we HAVE a budget and not just cooked books and printing presses. We get along quite nicely by ourselves. Pretty soon, Federal goons will be showing up at your door wanting to see how much food you have in your kitchen and whether or not you have more than the next guy, because the coup that is taking place right in front of your eyes will be issuing food ration cards, just like Nazi Germany. Why are they building all of these FEMA camps. For REEDUCATION. If they succeed. So, just as the Civil War, that everyone and his or her brother believe it was over slavery(Do you really think that New York Northern Abolitionists started the Civil War?)No, that was just the excuse. The Civil War was over STATE'S RIGHTS. We do not need Washington bureaucrats coming down here telling us Texans how it is done. The right to an armed militia(which includes in our Constitution every free man over the age of 16 and under the age of 69 to be a part of that armed militia). And the right to keep and bear arms SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED. What part of that do you not understand? If they take one of our freedoms, the next will be easier to take until we have no rights. No democracy has ever lasted as long as we have.No democracy has ever lasted more than 250 yrs. Look at the Weirmark(Sp?). The allies after WWI put such a crushing burden on them that they started giving entitlements. Who rode in to save that Republic? Adolf Hitler. The French Republic? Napoleon. The Greeks couldn't stop arguing with their states and when it was realized that they can give entitlements(free food, housing, medical, education,) for votes, it was all over and it is ALWAYS a coup that takes over and a dictator or tyrant who runs the now dead democracy. So our rights are sacred. If one if taken away or infringed upon, it won't be long until we cease to have these freedoms that, by the way many men have sacrificed their lives for, our right to keep our way of life. If you don't like it, move to England where no one has guns, only the police. Look at the Ukrainians today. They are in a fight for their rights, and I don't know about you, but those wars going back since the colonial wars, guarantee us those rights. I know wherefore I speak. I have a BA in Education an a BA in History with a field minor in Historical Research. Live Love from the great country of Texas.

Russia has less guns per person than the United States. I figured it was a reasonable comparison. I don't know what their gun laws are.

Russian really isn't my language. Often I upset friends and relations by confusing their alphabet with some sort of paint.

Sir, your ignorance is obvious. Most of Russia is at least a 100 years behind this country in most all aspects. If we had their gun laws, crime here would be rampant, just as it is there right now. In Australia, Great Britain and France, after their guns were "taken", the violent crime doubled in most parts of those countries and in select areas by a factor of ten. Never has any country been able to take all of the guns from their criminal elements and even if they could, they just would use other weapons. Then, just how would you defend yourself against a gang of robbers or rapist?---a 9 MM automatic would do a better job. And you too, like so many others, are either extremely ignorant or you are a paid NWO "plant". If it is ignorance, you, with your remarks, unwittingly become one of the "plants"

My husband, who is deceased now used to tell me that any man can get away from one dog, but not two well trained ones. Mine go for the throat if the intruders raise their hands. But they are trained to back down until I get there. They are trained to hold them, not kill them, but if they raise their hands or try to run, those dogs rule!

I don't doubt it for a minute, the difference is Russia has a man in charge, not a sheepish boy. Second they do not have the ACLU trying to save the criminals from punishment. They treat murderers as animals, there are repercussions when you murder someone in Russia.
If you look at their prison system you will see appropriate treatment of humans that choose to destroy the lives of innocent people. We have enough law in place to incarcerate our criminals, we don't have the guts to remove their rights until their time is served and their dept paid. If we did these two things we would have reform. Imagine the day when labotomys were performed and torture chambers existed compared to the play grounds and TV rooms we must give inmates today. I know that is extreme so lets just shard labor, no socialization, and plain food would probably do the trick too. We attempt to coddle and educate the cons in this country, we should be coddling and educated our next generation so that they do not become criminals.
Third and last, to the point GUN CONTROL will no work.
Didn't Reagan sign a law that said " use a gun, go to jail" even if you did not fire it or harm someone? As I recall that simple threat made a bunch of would be criminals switch to toy guns in case they got caught.

I wrote on here almost a year ago that Obama had taken from Medicare $875,000,000 and put it in Obama Care. I was refuted by, I believe, Ralph Wolfeeee, who said: he did not take any money from SS he just shifted the money around. The money he took from Medicare is no longer in the Medicare account which pays doctors for services to seniors. The result is that some services provided by doctors and hospitals will not be available to seniors due to a lack of funds. We paid that money into Medicare and Obama took it for his pet, Obama care. Her stole it! We are denied services because of what he did.
MORE STOLEN BY OBAMS FROM SENIORS. I reported on here about 10 months ago that Obama Care took away Medicare Advantage. There wasn't much comment on it at that time, as I recall. That act was included in the Obama Care Law and it was to have taken effect in October last before the election in which seniors voted for him by the millions. He carried Florida mostly because of the senior vote. Today, that law went into effect and every senior who is low income will lose the Medicare Advantage program. I am not on that program but, my brother and wife are. They will not have that available to them which means that they will have to pay more for hospital, doctor and drug services. If he had not pushed the start of that law forward till after the election he would not be president today. He is doing that with the employer mandate, and many other mandates of Obama Care until after the next election in the hope that he can hold the senate for democrats. If he loses the senate then he can and, probably will be, impeached. He has a lot at stake here. We have to promulgate this message to every one we know. All our friends. Everyone on our email account. For example, I have a hundred and twenty on my address book. It's easy, write my message and send to everyone. I hope that you join me in my call to action.
