If I might make another quick comment without giving it too much thought. Hemi does seem to put us under a rather dark cloud but, having lived in this Great Country for nearly 80 years, I feel that the extremes politically, morally, spiritually and about every other way are much further apart than they were even 50 or 60 years ago. I don't really know why that is so but I know it is true. Food for thought as they say.
Bernie
Bernie I agree that the country seems to be much more noticeably divided than I ever remember it being before but is it really? Yes, people are bitterly divided over the abortion issue, but that has always been the case. Itโs an issue that brings out very strong feelings from both sides with no easy answers or even a workable compromise. Other than that tho the only real difference I can see from when I was a kid is media. Baby boomers were the first generation to grow up with television. May seem simplistic at first glance but I think media is far more responsible for our present situation than they are being given credit for. And by media I mean ALL media. Food for more thought! โ๏ธ๐
