There is nothing wrong with your personal choice to take your chances and be a victim. There is a great deal wrong with you trying to enforce your belief in victimhood on everyone who does not agree with you. Get real. Have you seen how well registration has gone in Conneticut? There is massive non-compliance in a state with little tradition of firearms ownership. Wanna guess how well confiscation would work? This is an urban, northern, dark blue state. There would be outright rebellion in most of the country. By the way, checked Australia's crime rate lately? Burglaries are up. Homicides are up. Strong arm robberies are up. Rapes are up. Gun confiscation is working out ever so well for them.
One more thing: How many criminals do you think are going to "register" their firearms they already aren't supposed to own? How many do you think will meekly surrender them? Outside of misguided Liberals such as yourself, how much compliance would you reasonably expect nationwide, if they cannot even accomplish registration in a Liberal state like CT, which already has fairly strict gun control?

For all those that are happy and pleased with our immigration problem, please stand up and show your paychecks before Obama takes them to provide free housing, free schooling, ebt grocery cards, and free medical to a bunch of people he keeps bringing into this country and robbing from our hard working true Americans to give them the American dream. He's not stealing anything, the Congress is, and has been for a very long time. This issue could have been dealt with a long time ago, BEFORE Obama ever showed up. Passing the buck has been the Congresses way to deal with things for a long time as well.

Times have changed, and if there is one thing I can say about most Americans, exclusion of many Liberals, we learn from mistakes. You being a person who has taken the stand and told us how educated you are, should know that the loss of that war was not from Southerners being cowards, that war was lost from logistics and lack of supplies. I believe if it came down to another showdown the outcome would be far different. City people do not know how to live off the land, their brand of gorilla warfare would be a failure in the open. Liberals, city dwellers, and those who have proven themselves as lazy uninspired parasites will look for a rock to hid under and wait for the government to come save you. Here is another news flash, the vast majority of the military is made up of men and women who are from the South. I doubt that they would fire upon their own people.
