Greensburg, Ks. in May 2017 where the whole town was destroyed in less than that long. That one was so bad that from the center of the town there was nothing at all left. I had to go by there a month later but stayed a mile away because what used to be city of beautiful trees didn't have anything left but 6 ft. stumps. The TV pictures of the place taken from helicopter showed nothing but streets where people like my son had cleaned up with all that debris pushed to the edges. I have seen some real tornado damage done in my 85 years of living in tornado alley but never anything as bad as that on.

One of my old students told me that after getting his daughters and his wife across the street to a basement he went back home to just ride it out. In less than 5 minutes he was running over there hoping to get there in time. It was the sound that took him to the basement doorway just as the house blew away. He said all those people who say tornadoes sound like a freight train are wrong. That one sounded like a giant machine just grinding everything it came to.

That place was a real sh*hole for months and still isn't completely cleaned up, by any chance.

That is for sure. We need to start getting on their back thru Facebook, twitter, writing them, email, and call them till they start doing the peoples work. I am sick and tired of their lies, racist comments and race baiting. That is all they know because they have no policies and all they know how to do is raise taxes and make the government bigger.

I’ve worked with many people from Haiti before I retired in ‘09. I found them, ALL, to be hard working and smart. One, in particular, is a major in the US Army Reserves (soon to begin his 3rd tour in Iraq), a high-level manager within the GE corporation’s Energy Development Division, has his PE in Electrical Engineering, is presently working on a doctorate in Electrical Engineering, and is a productive, naturalized citizen, married, with 3 kids. His wife has a college degree and works outside the home, too.

Now, tell me, exactly which “shithole” sent him here to make life worse for Americans? Whose job has he taken away? How much welfare is he taking from you? If anything, if you’re on Social Secutrity, Medicare or Medicaid, or any other government subsidy, he’s helping you out with his contributions deducted from his paychecks.

PS. He and his family live just outside Atlanta in a $1,500,000+ home. Seems to me, he’s the kind of Haitian Trumpet would WANT to come here. But, NNoooo! According to,Trumpet, they ALL come from “shithole countries!”

Trumpet is as stupid as his base needs him to be so they can ALL feel like he’s one of them. When, in fact, he couldn’t care less about his “uneducated” and “low-class base.” (His words, not mine.). If he said that his words about “shithole countries” would “go well with my base,” then he thinks his base is as racist as he is. Otherwise, why would he feel the need to comment about his words “going well with [his] base?”

Like Forrest Gump said, “Stupid is as stupid does.” The correlation between Trumpet and his base is absolutely astounding! Trumpet sees it. Why doesn’t his base? I guess their “hero-worship” blinds them as to Trumpet’s true colors ... all white and nothing else.

No one said "the people " of Haiti were shitholes. It's their country that's the shithole. Look up some info on Haiti. The gentleman and his family are exactly the kind of people we want moving here. I'm sure there's a reason why himself and his family moved here. Could it be they wanted to come to a country where dreams can actually be achieved? He said he didn't want people who came from shitholes. His subject wasn't shitholes, but people who come from shitholes which is a racist remark. If he wasn't a racist he would have said that only people from Haiti with positive qualities should be allowed to immigrate to the US. Making a reference to letting people from Norway in without regard to their personal qualities only confirms his racism.

That is not true. First off they are disagreeing with what was said. Supposedly he said why are we taking people from shithole countries like Haiti or Africa and not Norway. It was politically incorrect to say, not racist. If he was so racist why did he sponsor a group of doctors, Rand Paul for one to help people in the country of Haiti receive eye exams and new glasses? Doesn’t matter. To liberals what you say is more important than actions. I get it. It’s all you have. The word racist means nothing anymore. You guys use it all the time when the facts go against you.
