Before you start castigating Trump, I suggest you look at what Carter did in 1979. Also what Bill Clinton did in regards to the Haitians. The president has wide authority to ban people from the US. He banned everyone from a handful of countries that happen to be majority Muslim. Did it ever occur to you that he did NOT ban the 85% of Muslims who DON'T live in those countries?
