Just because you change your name to "Devils Advocate", doesn't give you license to to be rude and ignore a question....
If ya don't know, say, "I don't know"..... And we can move on. Im sure a person of your babbling ability can muster those three words.
p.s. not all Muslims are terrorists, but so far the word muslim, is the one more often than not, preceding the word terrorist(s).
I have no need to change my name, Devil's Advocate is someone else completely.
If I do not know something, I have the intellect to go out and research the necessary information. Something you seem incapable of doing. You have repeatedly demand that I support my claims and I have done so, yet you make no efforts to support your claims. Which of us is really the babbler?
I have not been rude and I have answered every one of your questions in a polite manner and have shown where I got the information I used to support my argument. If you are incapable of comprehending, that is not my fault.
If you really want to figure out exactly why the Crusades started, maybe you should start your research here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Jerusalemor here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CrusadesFirst line of the first paragraph:
Quote:
Crusades were religiously motivated campaigns conducted between the 11th and 16th centuries predominantly but not exclusively against Muslims in the Near East but also against pagans, heretics, and peoples under the ban of excommunication for a mixture of religious, economic, and political reasons.(Emphasis mine)
I will not say you are correct that the Crusades were started by the Christians because of Muslims. The Crusades were started by the Christians at the time the Muslims had control of the city of Jerusalem.
So once again, I have answered your question. If this is not satisfactory, you are on your own from here on out.
As an aside, since you seem so adamant to prove me wrong, why do you not support your arguments? All I see from you is a one note song when you
might be able to muster so much more if you tried. I suggest you look at my other posts and decide whether I am capable of admitting I am wrong, you might learn something.
