I hate to tell you this, but Islam IS a religion, not a form of government. A theocracy is a form of government that governs through the chosen religion.
Worshipers of Islam worship a supreme intelligence, they call it Allah.
Worshipers of Christianity worship a supreme intelligence, they call it God.
Where are Christians less evil than Muslims?
Worshipers of Christianity started the wars with worshipers of Islam;

During the American Revolution, which many websites purport Christianity as the dominant religion (see below), soldiers (from many different Christian sects) engaged in guerrilla style and terrorist tactics against the British.

I do know that some worshipers of Islam engage in what I consider evil endeavors.
I feel that those members of Islam not speaking out against those engaging in these tactics are just as guilty as the perpetrators.
I know as well that Christianity has its fair share of evils in the past, as do many other religions.
I could go on and find other comparisons that show that Christianity is or has been as evil as you portray Islam to be, but my time is limited as I must work to pay for the Internet so I can correct people who make outrageous remarks. I consider what happened in the past, as well as what is going on currently, with both religions as relevant to this conversation. You WILL NOT get away with saying "Well, that happened long ago."
BTW, my stance on religion is that I am against all organized religion. I believe in a Supreme Intelligence. I do not believe I need to worship it. I do not believe I need others to help me understand my relationship with it. I do not need others to tell me what it wishes of me. If it wants me to do something according to its desires, it can tell me directly, in my face, without subtlety, indirect clues or any other such thing. Otherwise, I like to believe I choose my own path.
According to many religions, if you are not a worshiper of their religion you are going to their equivalent of Hell.
GUESS WHAT!
That means we are all going to Hell! See you there!!
