There are those that are (taught) that the world owes them something that they are entitled to everything being handed to them with no effort on there part being needed.

Then there are those that are (taught) that with effort and hard work they can achieve their goals.

I would bet you just about anything you like that assuming you have children and that you worked hard your whole life that you taught your children things like right from wrong. Things like stealing is wrong and working hard for what you want is right.

This doesn't mean people don't need a helping hand from time to time but what are we teaching our children?

I don't think we are teaching our children anything. I think we are letting the school and the internet do all the teaching. I don't know how that's being rationalized by everybody, but the youngsters I know say this " I can't keep up with all the new information out there, I let the experts deal with it.".
When I suggest that new is not automatically better, they say "time will tell". I then have to tell them that by the time they realize that the latest "new" thing is wrong, it'll be too late, because their children have now gotten used to it.

Yes all true, but my point to our friend 669 was about morals.

That he would never teach or direct his children to steal from their neighbor. Yet when 9 people get together once a year to vote 5 say it's ok to steal from their neighbor and only 4 say it's wrong to steal from him. We are teaching our children through our actions that stealing is ok, or for that matter murder.

I'm sorry but it is just plane wrong liberals would never directly teach their children to steal or kill yet they do so indirectly everytime they vote.
