Immigration is not evil, illegal immigration is an invasion. True immigrants come into our nation having gone through the process to ensure they do not pose mental, medical, or hostile threats to American citizens. They bring with them traditions that are in harmony with many of American values, training and skills. Overall, I am not opposed to legal immigrants. However, one has to keep in mind that the US land mass is just what it is, it is not growing. Keeping that in mind, we only have limited ability to financially support and to feed a given amount of people. Taking the death rate in consideration, one could expect for the US to remain self sufficient with an influx of about 700,000 people a year. Any more than that puts strains on educational systems, state run programs that include welfare, and federal programs. Also, this limit encourages assimilation into the American philosophies and encourages participation in attaining the goals of America. Sanctuary cities encourage immigrants to first and foremost break the laws, but also denies these people encouragement of embracing their new country. My personal opinion, illegals regardless of age or time in country need to be deported immediately. While we open our doors to legal immigration of people who will not undermine our nation, ideals, or hinder our forward momentum. We also must ensure the safety and well being of Americans. Due to the overt hostilities of some nations, individuals from those regions seeking visa or resettlement into the US must be put through vigorous investigations and denied admittance without respect to what is transpiring in their home country. American citizens should never fear they are being usurped by muslim who do not hold our values or any other cults that wish to do us harm.

They aren't spending it our economy, but they sure can use our social programs up...About 87 billion is paid locally within the states...We have about 12 million already here.. We have absorbed more than any other country at the demise of our way of life and finances we can no longer expend...And I suggest we have a lot more than is recorded too..More like 20 million are here so say dome..

They live here, send their money home, bring crime, diseases and cost us more than we can afford...They do not support this country or assimilate into it, they just use it as their temporary residence..

Linda, I was so proud of President Trump when he fired that temporary DOJ appointed by Obama. She violated the law. Her actions were insubordinate to our president. Her actions were all political by not following the orders of our new president.

"You're fired", that was fun, and I hope that serves a lesson to all those who violate the policy of President Trump. Fact is President Trump is a very effective leader. He must stay FIRM on his ban of Radical Islam from those countries where they came from unless vetted.

We are at war with Radical Islam. People from those countries where they belong must not be allowed to enter the US. In WW2, German refugees and Japanese refugees were not allowed to come to the United States.

President's ban is not about religion, is not about race. It is about protecting the American people. This is the number one job of the president, as stated in the constitution.
