We don't have jobs for the people who are citizens!
The immigrants that are coming to the US are given welfare and health care right off the bat.
To me it is stupid to admit any immigrants to the US at this time!
Many of the immigrants are reported to be diseased!

I also lean this way. Any country trillions of dollars in debt has no business subsidizing non-citizens who will be a net negative for our country.

Immigration is not evil, i*****l i*********n is an invasion. True immigrants come into our nation having gone through the process to ensure they do not pose mental, medical, or hostile threats to American citizens. They bring with them traditions that are in harmony with many of American values, training and sk**ls. Overall, I am not opposed to legal immigrants. However, one has to keep in mind that the US land mass is just what it is, it is not growing. Keeping that in mind, we only have limited ability to financially support and to feed a given amount of people. Taking the death rate in consideration, one could expect for the US to remain self sufficient with an influx of about 700,000 people a year. Any more than that puts strains on educational systems, state run programs that include welfare, and federal programs. Also, this limit encourages assimilation into the American philosophies and encourages participation in attaining the goals of America. Sanctuary cities encourage immigrants to first and foremost break the laws, but also denies these people encouragement of embracing their new country. My personal opinion, i******s regardless of age or time in country need to be deported immediately. While we open our doors to legal immigration of people who will not undermine our nation, ideals, or hinder our forward momentum. We also must ensure the safety and well being of Americans. Due to the overt hostilities of some nations, individuals from those regions seeking visa or resettlement into the US must be put through vigorous investigations and denied admittance without respect to what is t***spiring in their home country. American citizens should never fear they are being usurped by muslim who do not hold our values or any other cults that wish to do us harm.

How can you increase the tax base if there's too many people for the number of jobs? We're using our taxes to pay for welfare, medical, education, disease and crime. There's a big LOSS here in every way. Now they're even getting much waited for t***splants ahead of American citizens. It's a lose, lose situation here.
The legal immigration system worked as it was controlled. Open borders are the ruination of any country especially if we have a group that will never assimilate.

I agree. One of the first things immigrants should be vetted about is their desire to become Americans. My Grandparents were proud of their heritage but prouder still to become an American. Now we have all these groups from all over that want to come here but could care less what it means to be American.
