When your drowning, the last thing you want to grab onto as a flotation device, is an anchor.

Macy's might have pulled out of the Obama economy, by latching onto the coat tails of the Trump economy.

But, there are a lot of us out here, in little deplorable land, that is going to do everything we can to see to it they do not get any benefit from the Trump economy.

It's time they moved on and let someone else fill their void.

Maybe Macy's was on its downward spiral but Trump put the nail into the coffin.

People will have more jobs under Trump. There will be more buying from all over including Macys, and real estate will also boom. This is where economic boom begins.
It will end a robust economy, more employed, more people paying taxes, less people on welfare and free loading.

You'd have a point if trump pulled his line out of Macy's, but, alas, Macy's boycotted Trump. Lol. If that had anything to do with Macy's failure, it was by their own choice.

It didn't, but following your logic, they cut their own throats.

I think you underestimate just how pissed off the people are.

They are going out of their way to avoid Macy's, for the soul purpose of watching them go under.

They've changed their buying habits and that won't change and deliberately so.

Since Trump is taking credit for Sprint and Ford creating jobs shouldn't he also be taking credit for Macy's cutting 10,000 jobs? Or is this like god and anything good he is responsible for and anything bad is the liberals fault?

Maybe you slipped on your own drool. Did you see what online shopping, tax free and often free shipping, did during Christmas? We did 90% of our Christmas shopping this year and last year online.

Sprint and Ford and Carrier essentially did their moves in response to Trump's win and even his influence.

Macy's was going down, down for a while now, all during Obama's economy. LOL!! They are closing stores and thus having to do away with jobs. You can't give Trump retroactive credit for a business that has been failing for years before he ever came onto the scene.

Well, I guess you could, but you'd look pretty dumb.

Thats the only look he has.

Very few made in the USA clothing can be found.. I am sure more are made but the only ones to come to mind are from "Duluth Trading". They include work style clothing, some are made in the USA.. And also LL Bean boots are made in the USA. But the point is, have to search to find these things..

I like their clothing because it's made to american specifications. It's a little bit more expensive, but if there was more competition, their prices would be in a more favorable range. We do need more american manufactured products moved back into this country.
If they don't want to move, we should support loans for new companies that produce quality products. I'ld rather pay a little more knowing that
what ever I purchase will last longer than a couple months!

Reading the comments Peter, it is apparent you missed another one of those golden opportunities to keep your mouth shut. Will you never learn?
