CarolSeer, In the last week, I found out where Eaglenose gets his odd ideas. He is a follower of Rev. Chuck Baldwin, a way far right preacher. This guy has ideas that may have come from Mars. Check him out on Bing and make up your own mind. I never understood where he got this idea that it's either Talmud or Torah, or how some groups of experts in foreign affairs are really trying to take over the world. It's all there. I recommended that if he really wants an explanation of the Jewish religious and Holy books, to ask an Orthodox Rabbi. I guess he figures that the good Reverend knows more about Talmud and Torah than people that have studied it all their lives.

I've studied both Jewish history and theology and have never come across those ideas. I studied both Protestant theology and Catholic at my two colleges, Wagner College in New York City and Loyola of Baltimore and have never come across Chuck's beliefs. What seminary did he graduate from, The seminary of perpetual lies? It's a shame that some so called preachers use their pulpit to spread hate, lies and superstition, I'm convinced that Chuck baby leads that parade.

eagle nose, The New Testament is not part of the Jewish belief system. I find it interesting, but it just doesn't jive with the Old Testament, which is God's direct word to the Jewish people. I'm not going to debate the two, because I have no interest in insulting the Christian religion. Suffice it to say both faiths are Abrahamic monotheistic religions that believe that " do not do onto others that which you would not have done onto you" its God's commandment to all peoples. You are certainly entitled to your beliefs, and I mine. I can not see how Reverend Baldwin advances this idea. He preaches a kind of anti- Jewish message, which, as far as I can see is certainly not part of the Christian message of love.
We do not believe in either Revelation, or Ephesians as they are Christian, not Jewish. They have no more relevance to me than the Gita has to you! The books of the Old Testament that you quote are taken out of context. As far as Satan is concerned, we believe that he is a true servant of G-d. It is his task to tempt man to do evil. There can be no good without casting out evil.
