Breaking News: The vendor of the "too-big soft drink" that disappeared after being attacked by the First Lady has escaped a Fema death camp and communicated via email with Hannity describing his ordeal. For security measures, which should be abundantly obvious, the email has been destroyed along with the computer that received the message. Special Ops for Fox News has turned the man into an ordinary looking chicken to protect his life. Tonight on Hannity, you will hear from the chicken's own lips the horrors he suffered at the hands of the ACA cadre under a ruthless IRS commandant. Respected Chicken-whisperer Glenn Back will interpret. Despite all the stringent security measures taken, the White House's personal armed forces has caught wind of this coming impeachable testimony. The Russian Troops here supposedly for "training" are already moving to surround every chicken farm and the studios of Fox News. Hundreds of trucks filled with chickens heading for Fema camps have been noted on the highways by numerous well-informed voters. This could be the Big One.

What else does one call people who assume anyone who disagrees with their rightwingness is "leftleaner" or "Communist"? Are you seriously denying that you and your fellow travelers on OPP aren't crazy fanatics? Since you wingnuts won't call out the false statements of your fellow travelers, I have to. I'm not complaining about rightwing falsifications, just pointing them out. If in the process you feel I am insulting your camp, please point out examples of how reasonable and accurate and sane the statements that Obama hates America, is Marxist, is Muslim, etc. etc. that characterize your camp's posts across thread after thread on OPP. I could care less what names I'm called...I enjoy throwing back to you and all the rightwingnuts on OPP the truth about your garbage thinking. Someone has to correct the filth, paranoid fantasy lines, and gang-up postings of your gang.

Jon, We have spoken before, disagreeing on a lot of issues. I think we both realized there was some reason behind each other's stubbornness. I hope that when it comes down to it, you and the others stating their perspectives before you, realize that calling each other right wing nuts and communist morons does no one any good.
The only other thing i wanted to mention is that University of Kentucky basketball is above Tennessee. Drive north and you can see the Big Blue rule the court.

Paranoia, Old Roy. No knowledge here of Alinksy, whoever that was. My name calling is imitation of your fellow travelers. Read your own and their posts on OPP--quite an education in extremism. Is Alinksky namecalling a thing with leftwingnuts and rightwingnuts both?

On another site (immigration), the dumbos were paranoiding over alter ego posts on OPP. Really, what's wrong with you people? I'd really like to know. No, don't bother, I know what's wrong--extremism and paranoia. As an ex-McCarthyite myself, I recognize the illness. Takes one to know one. Me, I'm middle extremist and my paranoia is about left & right extremists. ha.

Apologies, Old Roy, if you're not extremist and rightwingnutty...so many of the right on OPP are extreme and nutty that I have difficulty distinguishing degrees of being merely opinionated from being so extreme that it's crazy.

Funny, I never heard of alinsky until I got here. And for a long time I did not even bother to search who he was. Never went further than wikipedia about him when I did. No reason to go any further: the fringe Right will see it everywhere if you don't hate Obama and libtards. The One World Order. You know what the one identifying factor of a paranoid personality and conspiracy theorist is? Certainty. Shove a thousand facts under their nose, no effect. Media manipulation, secret police, aliens, whatever, have managed to alter the "facts." Maybe even Alinsky's ghost.

KY basketball, as I recall way back then, always was top grade & TN likewise in football back then (haven't kept track since--was a UM Wolverine fan myself back then). My roots are south central rural MI, TN from age 9 to 23, U-W 1960-62 & then rural IL & WI border life til retirement to Green Bay 2 years ago, where my wife (from Chicago) and I are Bear fans in Packer territory, ha. However, one of my Atlanta, GA, grandnephews is a Packer fan. Glad to hear KY still rules the court.

You really think that using the same names for the other side is what you have to do so you can protect Obama and his gang, don't you?

What you do that bothers me is that you talk about those who don't agree with you as being stupid with all your name calling and then turn around and accuse them of doing the same to you.

I am pretty sure you aren't as simple as you sound but you do do quite a name calling job of work.

So you surely are a left leaner from the words you use. You lean toward Obama and his group and that sure isn't right, left leaner.

Your Big Blue didn't do so good in Texas the other day, did they? If they were so great surely Baylor wouldn't beat them. :P :P

Actually I am quite simple-minded, now that you suggest that--a degree of Aspergers. You just couldn't resist that jibe, huh? Just as you insist I'm a left leaner and no doubt worse, defending Obama & his gang. Quite obsessed with that person, huh?

I don't see politics in terms of persons. As a matter of fact I was for Hillary Clinton in 1908 and considered voting for McCain because I thought Obama was weak on geopolitical issues. In the end voted on domestic issues because McCain seemed inclined to careless geopolitical action--not too happy with either choice.

My actual political obsession is the danger of extremism of right and left. I suppose instead of calling out the OPP rightwingnut club I should leave y'all to your own undoing in your fantasy land of negatives and get on with the positives in my own life. It has been an interesting revisit to extremisms I observed firsthand at U-W grad school fall 1960-spring 62 except that was mostly extreme leftisms of young and this time extreme rightisms of mostly old geezers (we're the only ones who have time for internet postings--ha). Very interesting details both times--and both times awareness of moderates and extremes involved, and I did call out one key extreme left student group resulting in their being disaffiliated by the national organization. I don't think my calling out rightwingnutisms this time has changed anyone, although I intend to communicate with my GOP Congressman about the danger of the extreme right and with Rep. Ryan.

I did not know Clinton was running in 1908; I thought that it was Taff and Bryan. Did you vote for Bryan because of his proposal to socialize the railroads? Hmmm, he lost because of that misstep, I believe. But, because you were there perhaps you could enlighten us on the bitterness of that campaign.

No, but I can tell you why I favored conservative Sen. Robt. Taft, son of the Taft you refer to, over Eisenhower in 1952 for GOP nomination. Taft opposed the Nazi war crimes trials after WWII on Constitutional grounds that ex post facto laws were unconstitutional. I thought that showed standing on principle and the Constitution. I suppose it was more than two decades before I revisited that question and decided we were right to make and enforce international law regarding war crimes and crimes against humanity to deal with the immediate Nazi situation. I suppose Constitutional Libertarian would stand by Sen. Taft. ha.

1952 elections was Stevenson and President Eisenhower. So, sometime later in life you came to the realization that we should have stood against the total elimination of a race of people. Now that must have taken some deep thought. Congratulations.

The GOP nomination was between conservative Taft and moderate Eisenhower, NannyT. The issue Taft posed was in terms of Constitutional principle like some of the rightwing focus on Constitutional principles today. Sen. Taft's father was not only President but later Supreme Court Chief Justice, so I was quite impressed with Taft's insistence on the trials having been violation of the ex post facto law principle. I was, by the way, as fanatic against Truman as rightwingnuts are against Obama. I recall being reprimanded by my 8th grade teacher for remarks I made about Truman. Later I realized he was one of the great Presidents. I was one of 2 fanatic McCarthyites in high school (in Tenn., not Wisconsin...just coincidence I now live half an hour from his home town) and didn't realize he was an extremist who exaggerated until 4 or 5 years later. No, it never crossed my mind until later that the war crimes trials were necessary--I was blinded by references to Constitutional principle. I wish you and the club could see how blinded to ordinary realities one becomes when obsession with absolutes and negatives. I learned it the hard way.
