Ain't the first time that Obama has politicized such a tragedy. Fort Hood, Boston Marathon, Sandy Hook. He'll nail them all with his ideological sophistry. Even does photo ops with victims' families. Obama is a frigging disgrace.

You said a mouthful there. The fony fukcer is a complete idiot. If someone had been armed that clown might not have done so much damage.

Huh, so I suppose that the GOP's use of the Ebola tragedy during the last elections - was entirely justified?

The very idea of a politician using tragedy for personal or partisan gains is abhorrent - and perfectly acceptable - as it has been occurring forever and only those opposed to a particular person/party seem to mind. When OUR people do it, it's OK. When YOUR people do it, they should be ashamed. We all wear blinders don't we?

No, it's not acceptable for either party, and you should call it EVERYTIME. The only OUR people in my group are those who are willing to stand up and call the bullshit for what it is regardless of side.

The anti-gun politicians will always use the grief and misery of victims as a political expediency. Taking political advantage of every tragedy, much to their shame. They trade on the emotional response that people naturally have to someone else who is dealing with such events.

I think it is important that I point out a fact for the anti-gunners out there who constantly whine and make political hay out of every shooting that takes place in the US.
There are approximately 322,762,018 American citizens who did "NOT GET SHOT", on that day. This despite the fact that there are approximately 90,373,000 legal gun owners in America. They whine and snivel about a few thousand people killed for what ever reason, every year, admittedly as sad as that is.
If the droning lying bastards want a cause to spend their time on they should consider that almost 1,000,000 American citizens go missing every year. Where do they go? Why aren't the FBI, Homeland Security, local police and even the IRS not looking for them? I would think the IRS would go looking for them if a million people all of a sudden stopped paying taxes, don't you?
Are they being used somewhere as slaves? How about the "New World Order" culling them from the population to reduce the numbers of "eaters" in the world? Personally I think it is a good bet that the US government has made a deal with extra-terrestrial aliens to harvest them and use them for their protein, in exchange for technology. Sound like something the US would do? I think that is as good a hypothesis as any. (By the way, that is 2,300 people every single day of the year.)
And one more thing, has anyone, especially the anti-gunners ever heard of a member of the NRA running amok and killing anyone? I never have. So get off their backs already they are not guilty of anything except protecting all American's rights to bear arms, whether they want to own a gun or not. Since when has it become "unfashionable" to protect and support the Constitution and Bill of rights? Unlike Obama and Clinton trying actively to destroy them for their "Socialist Agendas".

Obama used the tragedy at the Emmanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charlston, SC the other night to point out that this horror happened at a very unfortunate time when both houses have a Republican majority(as though this could have been stopped had the democrats a majority) Here is some of what he said:“We do know that once again, innocent people were killed in part because someone who wanted to inflict harm had no trouble getting their hands on a gun. At some point, we as a country will have to reckon with the fact that this kind of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries. It doesn’t happen in other places with this kind of frequency. It is in our power to do something about it. The politics in this town foreclose a lot of those avenues right now.”, Obama said. “At some point it’s going to be important for the American people to come to grips with it, and for us to be able to shift how we think about the issue of gun violence collectively.”
Notice that hit-and-run remark? "It is in our power to do something about it. The Politics in this town foreclose a lot of those avenues right now"
In case anyone forgot the White House, Senate, and House was controlled by democrats until 2014, and there were plenty of mass shootings then too. But, it's not guns that kill people, it's the failure to write laws restricting freedom that kills people. Right. The president did not comment on the fact that even if all of the gun control measures he has supported during his presidency and in the Senate were law today that they would have stopped the killings committed by a lone insane gunman. Nor did he bother to mention that, just like Sandy Hook Elementary School and the movie theater shooting in Aurora, Colorado, Emmanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church was located in a "GUN FREE" zone meaning there were signs saying "NO Guns allowed in this area". They might as well have put up signs saying this:
NO WEAPONS ALLOWED

ATTENTION CRIMINALS
This is a Defense Free Crime Zone

All Law Abiding Patrons of This Area
Have Been Disarmed for Your Convenience

ENJOY
