'Nuff said.

Except this:

If Apple could have done something, but didn't, and any member of my family is killed or even hurt by terrorists, then Tim Cook is a dead man.

By the way, SOMEBODY cracked the Enigma Code!!

We cracked it by stealing it

That's what I had read also, but the other languages might have been in use prior or in other circumstances which these guys are referring to. Doesn't make them libtards, just makes you sound stupid.

The Brits did manage to get ahold of an Enigma machine.

And yet, Turing and others still had to spend time working on the solution to the code.

Could they have cracked the code without it? Most probably---just would have taken longer.

You seem to want to take credit from Turing and Bletchley Park. You should appreciate the fact you don't have to be speaking German now.

When you're dealing with evil, it's very hard to say which is more evil than another evil.

And remember, in any compromise with evil, evil always wins. And that is because evil has no restraints, moral or otherwise.

I am glad that Tim Cook refused to comply. I believe, that was not what Tim Cook wanted (to not comply) but that is what he had to do, or it would be the end of our liberty and freedom and also the end of Apple.

What the FBI wants could and would destroy the very core of our rights. It doesn't seem such a bad thing to some people but the reality is very dangerous to the people and the country and it could destroy the country all together.

Just think about it if the FBI had back door to Apple devices then any agency in the government will also have that capability such as the NSA, CIA, DEA, IRS...etc...you can name it; then before long the local law enforcement will have it too, then what!

If these agencies are able to get access to all Apple devices get all info about the people and if they want to prosecute somebody they don't like or one who stands up to them then they would have the capability to manipulate and frame that person for wrong doing by endless ways and that person could be you.

And don't forget that not only government agencies can get to the data in the devices, the hackers and foreign spies can also get access to it too. Remember, how many times we heard about millions of credit cards were stolen and how often we heard about government agencies had been hacked including the CIA, the White House and the FBI itself. That is because of the back door.

There will be no end to the problems and this is what Apple concern about it. If that happens who wants to use Apple's products.

Also if The FBI can force Apple to provide back door then the FBI will force other hi-tech companies to do the same.

When this happens that will be the end of our society.
