There you go again! "All of the Bush people", has never been stated by the State Dept. and to have the State Dept. now say that emails, sent at that time, is not their call. The State Dept. can not make a determination as to what emails are classified if the emails were not originally from their office.. The Agency that initiates the original email are the only ones that can claim they are of a security nature.

At the risk of being piled on, I will enter this fray.

Colin Powell was asked about this months ago. He stated he had used a private account, for routine correspondence, and his government server for secure matters.

As with General Pretraus, if it is found he and/or Ms. Rice violated protocols, they should be appropriately fined.

My concern is, and has been, the fact Mrs. Clinton had TSI/SAP documents..in the hundreds, on a non secure server. So many progressives attempt to declare this is a Republican plot when it was the NYT who initially reported the story. Unless I missed a memo declaring them a Republican publication, it is hard to see this as a Republican plot. Further, the other radical right wing publication, the Washington Post, has reported and questioned the matter of the server. The very much overlooked comment came from the most radical of radical right wingers. Senator Feinstein stated she had some concerns with the documents found to have been on the server. For those less involved in security matters, there is NOBODY, outside the intelligence communities, who knows or understands national security better then Senator Feinstein. It is now, and has been for YEARS, her major focus. She NEVER misses a briefing or hearing on such matters. When she says she has some concerns, you should take note.
